You'll arrive in Florence and get settled into your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around and get a feel for the city. The streets here are pretty charming, so take your time and see what catches your eye.

Florence
This is your deep dive into Florence's Renaissance side. You'll have a guide taking you through the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo's David, then over to the Florence Cathedral where you can check out that iconic dome. The Uffizi Gallery is next, and you'll also walk through the historic center past the Ponte Vecchio and other buildings worth seeing. By the end of the day you'll have some free time to go back and spend more time with whichever artworks grabbed you.

Florence
Today you can take it easy in Florence, or if you want, there's an optional full-day Tuscany Wine & Hills Tour available. That tour gets you out to the Chianti vineyards and Val d'Orcia, where you'll do wine and olive oil tastings at local wineries. You'll also see Pienza and Montepulciano, both nice towns in the hills, and lunch is included with the tour if you decide to go.
