Itinerary

Ashgabat
Arrive in Ashgabat and your transfer takes you to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, take a walk around the neighborhood, or just rest after your journey. It's a good time to get your bearings before the tour officially starts tomorrow.

Ashgabat to Mary to Ashgabat
After meeting your group this morning, you'll head to the airport for a flight to Mary. Once there, a guide walks you through Merv, an ancient Silk Road settlement and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The History museum of the region gives context to what you're seeing, and then you fly back to Ashgabat by evening with time to grab dinner and rest.

Landmarks Merv - Day 3
Ashgabat to Darvaza Gas Crater
This morning covers Ashgabat's highlights with a guided sightseeing tour hitting UNESCO sites, mosques, museums, and the horse stables. After lunch, a 4x4 vehicle takes you 280km across the Karakum Desert toward the Darvaza gas crater. You'll set up camp for the night and have fire-cooked dinner while watching the burning crater light up the darkness.

- Day 4
Darvaza to Kunya-Urgench to Ashgabat
Early departure from the crater site and the drive continues to Kunya-Urgench, where you check out historic mausoleums and the Kutlug Timur Minaret. Later in the day, you fly back to Ashgabat and transfer to your hotel for the final night of your tour.
