Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
After breakfast at your accommodation, you'll head to Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca early in the morning. From there, drive to Rabat where you can walk through Bab Challah gate and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, with a stop at the Oudaya Kasbah if time permits. The route takes you over the Rif mountain foothills with their white-washed villages dotted across the landscape before arriving in Chefchaouen, the blue mountain town, around late afternoon (approx 4-5 hours driving total).

- Day 2
Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes
Meeting after breakfast, you'll drive toward the Imperial City of Fes by way of Meknes. There's a stop to explore the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, where you can see beautiful open-air mosaics from the 3rd century BC. After lunch, a local private guide will show you the major historic sites of Meknes before the drive continues into Fes, arriving around late afternoon or early evening. The total travel time spans most of the day with meaningful stops along the way.

- Day 3
Fes
After breakfast at your accommodation, you'll explore the oldest Imperial City with a private local guide. You can visit the medieval Medina and see the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, which is the oldest in the world. Then check out the Bou Inania Madrasa and Dar Batha Palace. Later after lunch, you'll head to the outdoor leather tanneries and dye vats. Around 180 characters or fewer.

Fes - Ifrane - Merzouga
Starting after breakfast, you'll drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, a town known for its cool mountain air and Alpine-style architecture. A stop at Cedar Forest lets you see Barbary macaques and feed them (conditions permitting). After lunch in Midelt, you'll continue through Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz Valley toward Merzouga. Here's where the desert experience begins: you'll meet your camel and guide for approximately 1 hour, riding into the Erg Chebbi Dunes at sunset with the option to climb to the dune top for the full view. The night is spent at a desert camp complete with campfire, live music, and clear starry skies.

- Day 5
Merzouga - Dades Valley
The day starts early, greeting the sunrise over the Sahara with breakfast at camp. You'll take a camel trek back to Merzouga, then trade your camel for a 4x4 vehicle. The drive takes you through unique geological landscape to the mighty red-rocked Todra Gorge, where you can explore on foot and have refreshments under the hanging rock. From there, continue deeper into Dades Valley to see panoramic views and distinctive rock formations, stopping for lunch somewhere along the route. You'll arrive in the post-Saharan Dades Valley around late afternoon.

Next comes the Atlas Film Studios, then you'll cross the Atlas mountains using the Tizi n Tichka pass with stops for photos along the way. The journey concludes in Marrakech, the pink Imperial city, arriving around late afternoon or early evening (approximately 5-6 hours of travel with exploration time included).

Marrakech - Casablanca
You'll meet at your accommodation at mid-day with your local private guide to explore your 3rd Imperial city. Walk around the Koutoubia Mosque and get photos at the ornate Saadian Tombs. Check out the decorative details of Ben Youssef Madrasa. Have lunch in Jemaa el fnaa square, then spend time at Bahia Palace and Sultans Hareem. Wander through the Medina and souks before heading to Casablanca by highway. Around 180 characters or fewer.
