Bantry to Glanlough
Head out for a hike along the Sheep's Head Way west of Bantry. The route follows the central spine of the hills with views stretching across Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay as you make your way toward Glanlough. The landscape opens up as you walk, and the bay views keep shifting throughout the day.

Cahergal to Kilcrohane
You'll get a ride to Cahergal, where your hike around the western tip of the Sheep's Head peninsula begins. This area is known for whale watching if you're lucky with timing and weather. The route then turns east and takes you to Kilcrohane, wrapping around one of the more dramatic sections of the peninsula.

- Day 4
Kilcrohane to Durrus
This day covers the south side of the Sheep's Head peninsula. Starting from Kilcrohane in the shadow of Seefin Mountain, the path carries you through Ahakista and down to the village of Durrus. The southern exposure means different views from previous days, and the walking is more gradual as you approach the coast.

Durrus to Cork City
Your walking holiday wraps up as you catch a public bus from Durrus, heading back via Bantry to Cork City. This gives you time to reflect on the week and travel at a relaxed pace before your journey concludes.
