Itinerary
- Day 1
Siem Reap
You'll land at Siem Reap International Airport and handle immigration, with visa on arrival available if you haven't sorted it beforehand. Your English-speaking guide and driver meet you at the exit for the transfer into the city. Check into your hotel and spend the afternoon settling in and resting up from travel. If you arrive with enough daylight, consider taking a walk or short tuk tuk ride to the night market to try some local food and get a feel for the area.

- Day 2
Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat
After breakfast, head out with your guide to spend the day exploring the Angkor temple complex. You'll start at Bayon Temple, then stop for photos at the Terrace of the Leper King and walk the Terrace of Elephants before checking out Baphuon temple. Next comes Ta Prohm, that jungle-covered temple from the Tomb Raider film, and you'll end the afternoon at Angkor Wat itself. Spend time walking through the galleries, past columns and libraries, around courtyards and pavilions with their reflecting ponds. You'll be back in Siem Reap by evening.

- Day 3
Siem Reap - Phnom Kulen
You'll head out at 7am toward Phnom Kulen, Cambodia's holiest mountain. Start at the mountain-top Preah Ang Thom Pagoda to see the relics and reclining Buddha, then switch to a motorbike for riding through the terrain. Stop at Poeng Tbal to see ancient stone carvings of Shiva, Vishnu and Ganesh, visit Prasat Rong Chen on its three step pyramids, and check out a colorful modern temple where you'll have a simple lunch. Later you'll explore a bat cave by torch light, see Srah Damrei (Elephant Pond) and the Damrei Khrap carvings. On the way back, stop at the Thousand Lingas River to see hundreds of carved lingas, take a refreshing bath at Kulen waterfall, and explore Palm Sugar Village and Preah Dak village where locals make traditional steaming-rice cakes before returning to your hotel.

- Day 4
Siem Reap - Kompong Khleang - Departure
Meet your guide at the hotel at 9:30am for your final morning. You'll travel about 45km to Kompong Khleang village, the largest floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. Along the way, try traditional bamboo sticky rice and watch incense making if it's in season. Once there, board a private sheltered boat to see the stilt houses that stand 8 to 10 poles high, watch the fishing activities and morning boat trading, and learn how over 10,000 people have lived here for generations on the water. After exploring the village, you'll head to Siem Reap airport for your departure.
