Seoul
You'll get a ride to your hotel and have time to get settled in. Later on in the afternoon, there's a briefing session where you'll learn about what's coming up on the tour.

- Day 2
Seoul - Busan
This is a full day in Seoul starting with a five-hour sightseeing tour covering Changdeokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and the War Memorial of Korea museum. After lunch you'll head to Gangnam District for shopping and entertainment, then climb Lotte World Tower if you want. Later in the evening you'll take the high-speed train down to Busan.

- Day 3
Busan
Head out early to see Haedong Yonggung Temple, a 14th-century Buddhist temple right by the sea. Back in Busan you'll visit the UN Memorial Cemetery and South Korea's largest fish market near Nampo port. Grab lunch and then check out Yongdusan Park with its 120-meter pagoda, followed by Songdo Beach where you can ride the maritime cable car for bay views. Wrap up the day in Gamcheon Cultural Village exploring galleries, pottery workshops, and cafes.

- Day 4
Busan - Seokguram - Bulguksa - Gyeongju - Daegu
Travel to Seokguram Buddhist Grotto from the 8th century on Tohamsan's slopes, then visit Bulguksa Temple. Once you arrive in Gyeongju (the ancient Korean capital), photograph the wooden Woljeonggyo Bridge. After lunch, walk through Tumuli Park with its royal burial mounds from over 1,500 years ago and see the Cheomsongdae Astronomical Observatory. Then head to Daegu to explore Dongsan Cheongna Hill area and Dongseong-ro shopping street, plus the Yangnyeongsi Museum of Traditional Medicine.

- Day 5
Daegu - Andong - Hahoe - Seoul
Travel north to Andong and check out Hahoe Village, a UNESCO-listed historic rural area that looks like it's stuck in another time. See the World Mask Museum with ceremonial and theatrical masks. After lunch you'll visit the 16th-century Byeongsan Seowon Confucian academy beside a calm river, then head back to Seoul arriving mid-afternoon.

Seoul - Tokyo
Following breakfast you'll transfer to the airport for your included flight to Tokyo. After you land and clear border procedures, you'll meet your assistant. A shared shuttle takes you to your hotel where you can settle in and relax.

- Day 7
Tokyo
Start with a five-hour guided tour of Tokyo hitting both vibrant and peaceful neighborhoods. You'll see Zojoji Temple with views of Tokyo Tower, the famous Shibuya Crossing, and Meiji Shrine. Tour Omotesando Avenue, the Imperial Palace gardens, and the Nijubashi Bridge. Drive through Akihabara's electric city scene and go to Tokyo Skytree for city views. End at Asakusa with Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street. In the evening head to Shinjuku by subway for a walk around the district and dinner.

- Day 8
Tokyo - Kyoto
Catch the bullet train early to make the just-over-two-hour journey covering nearly 500 km to Kyoto, Japan's former imperial capital. Spend your day exploring the city's historical landmarks including Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its nice gardens. Wander through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district known for geishas, at your own pace.

Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
Travel to Nara to see Todaiji Temple with its giant Buddha statue built back in 752. You'll get to interact with friendly deer roaming free in the park around it. After lunch, visit the Horyu-ji Buddhist Temple complex with its ancient pagoda, one of the oldest wooden structures in the world. Then continue on to Osaka arriving in the evening and check out the lively Dotonbori district with its nightlife.
