Can this tour starting on 5 Sep or the one starting on 10 Sep be combined with any Southern Xinjian tours.... I am a solo traveler from New Zealand and would like to cover both the northern and the southern Xinjiang major attractions. However, I want the tour to end in possibly in Urumqi so I can fly to Bishkek on 25 Sep - am trying to arrange for a tour of 5 Stans which is likely to commence towards end of Sep.

I have carefully checked your travel plan and prepared a combined Xinjiang itinerary for you, which includes both Northern Xinjiang and Southern Xinjiang, and the journey will finally end in Urumqi, allowing you to arrange your onward flight to Bishkek around September 25. The only reason I have 4 stars, was due to the disgusting hotel, you provided in Guilin. It was dirty, also infested with cockroache, and I’m pretty sure they were rats, that the owner disposed, whilst we were having our dinner, hence I booked myself into a nearby hotel called Vienna. I think for future reference, you do not use The River Lodge in Guangzi. It fid spoil my holiday a little, considering all the other hotels you provided were good!Show more

Overall my itinerary was excellent with the key highlights of the visited cities and areas. The accommodation was to a very acceptable standard, especially the Beijing and Zhangjiajie hotels. My only grievance was the hotel in Yangshuo. Firstly, the location was in the middle of nowhere so it left us isolated and unable to do much in the way of activities in the evening. A more preferred location would be closer to West Street where we could have had the opportunity to stroll back there to visit the shops and grab a dinner. Secondly, the hygiene standard was well below par. My sister, Linda, had the misfortune to witness two creatures being removed with long tongs from the property. Although the Manager explained that they were toads, my sister informed me that both creatures had long tails and looked more like rats! She chose to move to the Vienna Hotel at her own expense but she was finally refunded by the tour operator. I understood that we were deep in the countryside and it is inevitable that some creatures may enter the property but it is unacceptable that the Manager fabricated this story relating to the event. Nevertheless, the other accommodations were to a decent standard (Xi-an hotel's mattress for fold out bed was very poor), it is hard for me to fathom why the tour operator would choose such a hotel which is of such a low standard in comparison to the others in terms of the inconvenient location and the poor hygiene. Furthermore, we found a huge cockroach in our room! As for the tour guides, they were excellent. Candy in Beijing, Jenny in Xi-an, Summer in Chengdu, Marco in Guilin, Olivia in Zhangjiajie and Aylin in Shanghai were extremely knowledgeable of the given areas and sites, and on the whole, were courteous and friendly. I'd like to give a major shout-out to Candy who had a very kind and sweet composure, Marco who had an excellent command of the English language, and Summer and Aylin who were both very enthusiastic and gave a wealth of information en-route to the locations. On our arrival to Shanghai, we were received by a young guide called Alex. He was only with us for the journey to our hotel but admittedly, he was very good and knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting details for that short length of time that he was with us. The breakfasts and lunches were great with the exception of the buffet at the Mutianyu Great Wall. As there was not enough space indoors, the buffet was set up outside so the food had been left out in the sun for quite sometime which obviously, not the best of conditions to leave food. In conclusion, my memories of the vacation were very positive but the negatives outlined above are to help you to improve in these areas which can slightly mar the overall experience of the trip.Show more

  I'm happy to confirm that the quoted prices for both the 12-day tour (USD 3,353 per person) and the 7-day tour (USD 2,131 per person) already include the main services mentioned in the itinerary, including accommodation, private transportation, English-speaking guide service, entrance tickets, and the domestic flights/train tickets specified in the itinerary. The only additional expenses you would need to arrange separately are: Accommodation in Urumqi after the tour ends. Your 2 combined itinerary finishes on September 23rd, but since your international flight to Bishkek is on September 25th, you would need to arrange the additional 2 nights' accommodation in Urumqi by yourself. Transfer from your Urumqi hotel to the airport on September 17th. Besides these two items, all accommodations, transportation, flights/train tickets, guide services, and entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary are already included in our quotation. Please also kindly note that the following expenses are NOT included: China visa fee, if your nationality requires a visa to enter China. Meals that are not specifically mentioned in the itinerary (you will have the flexibility to choose restaurants according to your own preferences).
