Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice to Lido di Jesolo
You'll arrive at Venice airport and pick up your rental car for the drive to Lido di Jesolo, a seaside resort town on the Adriatic coast. The area has a long sandy beach and plenty of space to wander around at your own pace. Spend the rest of your day getting settled and exploring this relaxed beach community.

Venice
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive to Punta Sabbioni and catch a boat heading into Venice. Once there, head to St. Mark's Square to see the cathedral with its lagoon views, then walk through the Doge's Palace and cross the Bridge of Sighs. From there, you can check out Santa Maria Formosa, San Giovanni e Paolo, and the Rialto area. The day includes visits to the Church of Frari to see Titian's work and the Church of San Rocco ai Frari for Tintoretto's pieces. Bring a camera for the squares, villas, churches, and bridges before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Venice - Murano - Burano
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then take the water bus from Venice to Murano to watch glassblowing demonstrations and see handmade glass creations up close. Wander through the colorful streets and visit the glass museum there. Later, the vaporetto takes you to Burano, where you'll see the brightly colored houses and learn about the local lace-making tradition. Stop by the Church of San Martino with its leaning bell tower. By evening, you'll head back to your hotel in Lido di Jesolo by vaporetto.

Lido di Jesolo to Montecatini Terme
After breakfast, you'll drive to Florence for the day's activities. Visit Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in Italy and burial location of important historical figures. See Palazzo Vecchio with the replica of Michelangelo's David, then either walk the city streets or head to the Uffizi Gallery. Later, take time at a café in Piazza della Repubblica before traveling to Montecatini Terme for your 3-night stay.

Montecatini Terme - San Gimignano - Siena
Starting with breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive through the Chianti region between Siena and Florence, known for its wine production and rolling hills filled with vineyards and olive groves. Next, visit San Gimignano with its distinctive high towers, stopping by the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and Palazzo del Popolo. Then head to Siena to explore the medieval old town with its narrow streets and tall clay-brick palaces. Climb the Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia for views over Piazza del Campo.

Montecatini Terme - Pisa - Lucca
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll drive to Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower and the Square of Miracles, which includes the Cathedral, Baptistery, and Campo Santo cemetery. From there, head to Lucca to walk through this medieval city with its impressive towers like the Guinigi Tower and Clock Tower. Explore Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, one of Italy's most beautiful squares, and the Church of San Michele located in the historic center.

- Day 7
Montecatini Terme - Perugia - Assisi - Rome
You'll travel through the Tuscan countryside after breakfast, starting with Passignano sul Trasimeno, a medieval town surrounded by old walls and a fortress. Continue to Perugia, an art city with the beautiful Palazzo dei Priori, cathedral, Loggia, and the elegant Fontana Maggiore. Next, drive to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, where you'll visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Gothic Basilica of St. Chiara, Chiesa Nuova, and the Roman Temple of Minerva. The day concludes with the magnificent Basilica of St. Francis, known for its fresco cycles and UNESCO World Heritage status. You'll then settle into your 3-night stay in the Rome area.

Explore the architectural layout of St. Peter's Square before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.

You'll start with breakfast at the hotel before exploring Rome's ancient sites, beginning with the Colosseum, the massive amphitheater from gladiator times. In the afternoon, see the Pyramid, Mouth of Truth, Circus Maximus, and Baths of Caracalla. You'll also visit Santa Maria Maggiore and walk through historic squares like Piazza Venezia and Quirinale. After breakfast at the hotel, check out around 10:00 am. You'll then return to the car rental location or drive straight to Venice airport, drop off your rental car, and depart based on your individual travel arrangements or extend your stay.
