Itinerary
- Day 1
Cuiabá to Porto Jofre
You'll land at Cuiabá Airport where your local host will pick you up and drive you toward Porto Jofre along the Transpantanal road. This 145 km journey takes about 4.5 hours and winds through wooden bridges, lagoons, fields, and gallery forests. Along the way, keep your eyes open for capybaras, caimans, marsh deer, and various birds throughout the landscape. Once you arrive at your lodge, you'll have time to settle in before dinner.

Porto Jofre
These two days focus on guided boat tours searching for jaguars in the Porto Jofre region, one of the best places in the world to spot them in their natural setting. Your expert guide will take you through winding river channels where you might also see giant river otters, capybaras, caimans, howler monkeys, and numerous bird species. Each day includes a lunch break before heading back to the lodge for dinner and the night.

Porto Jofre to Cuiabá
After breakfast at the lodge, you'll check out and head back to Cuiabá Airport along the Transpantaneira road. This drive retraces your route through wooden bridges and the wetlands, giving you another chance to spot wildlife as you pass through the Pantanal's distinctive terrain. You'll arrive at the airport in time for your onward flight.
