Arrival in Hanoi
Your private driver picks you up at Hanoi airport and takes you to your hotel in the Old Quarter. Depending on when you land, you can either settle in and rest from your flight or head out to wander the bustling streets and get a feel for the local atmosphere.

- Day 2
Hanoi Sightseeing & Coffee Workshop
This morning you'll visit several of Hanoi's major sites: Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison. After lunch, you'll spend about 2 hours at a vietnamese coffee workshop learning about coffee culture and brewing five different traditional varieties.

- Day 3
Ninh Binh & Tam Coc Day Trip
You'll start early at 7:30 AM for the drive to Ninh Binh to see Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital, where temples from the 17th century honor King Dinh and King Le. After a buffet lunch with regional dishes, you'll take a peaceful bamboo boat through Tam Coc, often called 'Halong Bay on land' with rice fields all around. Then comes a 45-minute bike ride through the village before heading back to Hanoi, arriving around 6:30 PM.

Halong Bay Cruise Embarkation
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll transfer to Halong Bay through scenic landscapes. The cruise starts around noon when you board, check into your cabin, and have lunch as you sail through limestone karsts. The afternoon opens up for kayaking, swimming, exploring caves, or just relaxing on the sundeck. By evening you'll anchor in a quiet spot and have dinner on board.

- Day 5
Halong Bay to Hoi An
You'll watch the sunrise and eat breakfast on deck as the cruise heads back to harbor. After an early lunch, you disembark and transfer to Hanoi, then fly to Danang. A driver meets you there and takes you to your hotel in Hoi An, about 45 minutes away. Check in and the rest of your day is open for exploring this charming ancient town at your own pace.

Hoi An Leisure Day
This entire day is yours to explore Hoi An however you like. Rent a bicycle and cycle toward the riverside or beach to swim and relax at local cafés with fresh fruit drinks. The town has a great reputation for shopping, and tailors here can make custom clothing with overnight service. In the evening, walk through the Old Town to see the colorful lanterns light up as shops open and catch street performances happening around town.

Then a private driver takes you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. When you land at Tan Son Nhat Airport, a driver is waiting to bring you to your hotel in the city center. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

- Day 8
Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels
You'll see Ho Chi Minh City's main attractions: Independence Palace, French Colonial buildings, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. Next, the War Remnants Museum provides context on the Indochina wars. After lunch, you'll drive about 1.5 hours to Cu Chi Tunnels to walk through the underground network including living spaces, kitchens, and command centers. You'll taste cassava and tea, typical guerrilla food, and can optionally try the firing range before returning to the city.

- Day 9
Mekong Delta Day Trip
You'll head to My Tho, a quiet town on the Mekong River, starting at the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. Then comes a scenic sampan cruise past four mythical islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. On Unicorn Island you'll walk through country lanes, have fresh tropical fruits, and hear traditional folk music. After lunch, a hand-rowed sampan takes you through the narrow Thoi Son Canal to visit a honeybee farm for honey tea and watch local artisans make coconut candy. You can optionally bike around Tan Thach Village or relax in a hammock before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
