The term "spectacular' is used so liberally in travel marketing that it's practically a synonym for "cool. The 13 Day Spectacular Japan experience was simply enough to allow Japan to take it back, with a tinge of quiet confidence. The architects of this journey didn't overlook any important spots in Japan; they had the ambition of hitting enough to feel like they had covered everything, while leaving the pacing just right so each place had time to sink in before the next was reached. Tokyo was as sensorial as ever. The Japanese Alps were, without doubt, a surprise and an extraordinary experience, both at the same time. The timeless elegance of Kyoto was displayed without effort. Hiroshima demanded of us everything in spirit and was willing to give it. The greatness of these 13 days was not so much the individual landmarks as the way they were deliberately assembled into something bigger than the sum of its parts. Japan is a nation which values patience and attention more than any other and that's exactly what this itinerary is comprised of.Show more
