These are the hotels we will book for you. All the hotels we have chosen for this trip are 4**** Hotels and centrally located: MALAGA - Petit Palace Plaza Malaga Hotel SEVILLE - Hotel Sevilla Center CORDOBA - Eurostars Conquistador Hotel GRANADA - La Casa de la Trinidad Hotel by Casas y Palacios If you want to go to Gibraltar, this is best done as a full-day excursion (not a half day) because of the travel time involved. From Málaga for instance, the trip to Gibraltar and back usually takes around 10–12 hours — including transportation, time at the destination, and border crossing. The price for it in a regular group will be around 40 EUR per Person. If you take this option, you will need to add one night in Malaga. Other possibility is to use the day from Malaga to Sevilla and stop in Gibraltar for a few hours before continuing to Seville. As Gibraltar does not have a train station, it will be difficult and complicated to do it with train/car combination. In this case, I will suggest to replace the train for a private ride from Malaga, visit Gibraltar for 2 hours and then continue to Sevilla. This private ride will cost you (once reduced the cost of the train), around 190€ per Person. Regarding the airport transfers, all are included in the package. If you prefer in this case to fly back home from Madrid, we can go from Granada to Madrid, spend the night there and take your flight back home. Other possibility is also to fly in to Madrid and then take the train to go to Malaga on the first day. The transfer from train stations to hotels are included. The way to the train stations for departure are not, simply because the hotels are centrally located and many guests prefer to walk or take a local taxi, or Uber, which is cheaper.

My husband and I chose this tour specifically because it was by train and we could see so much. I have been on bus tours and didn’t want to spend days on a bus. We stayed in Frankfurt a couple days more at the beginning and we loved that. Old town Frankfurt is beautiful. We had one day in both Cologne and Bremen and felt it was enough. They are both beautiful though! Hamburg is a gorgeous port city. The Miniatur Wunderland is definitely worth the visit - it is incredible. And then the boat tour and hop on/hop off bus was also great to have. We felt that we saw so much in Hamburg in 2 days. Berlin has a guided tour, Potsdam and Sachsenhausen. All of these were great to see. We also went to Museum Island and saw a few of the museums too. I love WWII history so we got our fill of it here. Then Munich, I love Munich. We walked the Marienplatz and then there was the day trip to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. We paid to go inside (which is extra) and we felt it was worth seeing. I did not know that Neuschwanstein was unfinished but what is there is extravagant. We also took in several beer halls including Hofbrauhaus. I think if we had another day in Munich, it would have been better (but that’s another reason to go back!). We were in constant contact with Javi, our guide, through WhatsApp. He would answer questions and offer suggestions throughout the trip. This is also how you receive your vouchers. It was the perfect balance of being on our own and being with a guided tour. There was some confusion over the transfers from the Frankfurt airport (our flight was late and the driver had left) and train stations (we didn’t know where to go), but Javi walked us through it as it happened - minor hiccups. Overall, it was an excellent trip and we would use Eurolatino tours again to help us see more of Europe by train.Show more
