Your driver guide will meet you at Seeb International Airport and take you to your hotel. You have the rest of the day to relax and get settled in after your travel.

Muscat
Start with a guided tour of Muscat's cultural highlights. You'll see the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, then check out the Bait Zubair Museum to learn about Oman's history. After that, stop for photos at Al Alam Palace. Later, walk through the traditional Muttrah Souq where you can find local handcrafts, spices, jewelry, and juice stalls.

Muscat to Musandam
You'll take a 1-hour flight to Musandam, watching volcanic groups from the air during the flight. Once you land, your local driver guide picks you up and takes you to the hotel. In the afternoon, you'll head up to a highland 2,087 meters above sea level for views of the valley below.

Musandam

Musandam to Nizwa
Fly back to Muscat and your driver guide meets you at the airport. You'll drive to Nizwa, the largest city in inland Oman. Stop at Bahla Fort, a UNESCO site from 1668, then explore Al Hamra Village with its centuries-old houses over 300 years old. Check in to your hotel for the night.

Nizwa
Drive about 30 minutes to Jabrin to see the 17th century Jibreen Castle with its intricately carved ceilings. Continue to Bahla, an ancient UNESCO heritage town known for pottery. The day ends at Jebel Shams at 3,000 meters altitude where you can see the great valley.

Visit Misfah Village where your driver guide explains the ancient Falaj water supply system. Lunch is on your own. Then drive about 3.5 hours to Wahiba Sands for a desert safari, watching the sunset over high sand dunes. You'll spend the night in a desert camp.

Ras Al Jinz to Salalah
Wake up very early to see green sea turtles returning from the beach to the sea. Later, drive about 1.5 hours to Bimmah Sinkhole and swim in its clear waters. Head to Wadi Shab (1 hour drive) for a hiking tour through a narrow valley. Then transfer to Muscat airport for your flight to Salalah.
