  The itinerary worked perfectly for us. Would have liked to hotelin Sorrento to be closer to town, but we did like the hotel, Giosue A Mare, for the short time there. The food was very good! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved staying in Minori! The second hotel, Santa Lucia, in Minori was ok, the room was acceptable with nice little balcony. Close to walk to piazza by the water and restaurants also easy access to ferries. However, the food was awful! Breakfast so so, dinner terrible and we ate out after one dinner there! How can we be in Italy and they offer us rabbit and meatloaf! Terrible! The one Italian men of cannoli was bland and tasted like they just smeared tomato paste over top! Ugh! Ala in all likelihood the free time in Minori to explore on our own!Show more

  Overall the trip was good! I wish we had more information going into each excursion because we had some people that were limited and had to wait until the guide was there before determining they were unable to participate in the activity rather than being able to just stay at the hotel. The hotels were nice and all had AC and some had pools. We arrived before check in time in Rome and had to pay for early check in. Breakfast was included in our stay at Rome, except the first day. The group had to leave too early on the last day and didn’t get to eat breakfast so they had asked to instead of paying for the first day of breakfast, let it take the place of the last morning in Rome but they wouldn’t do it so that was frustrating. Also you have to pay taxes at each hotel. The hotel in Rome was right near the metro which was a dangerous area. The day we were leaving, they had us waiting outside a place (that wasn’t open yet) to get transferred to Sorrento and my mom’s phone got stolen right out of her hand. The day trip to Pompeii was cool, definetly informational. The day trip to Capri was nice, but the tour guide said we could either have 4 hours of free time or go on a bus with her (20 euros a person) obviously we don’t know what we’re doing and how to get to places so we did the bus tour & then had the “private” boat tour at the end of the day. The boat was huge and had a ton of people on it. The Amalfi coast was incredible, no issues at all. Each town we visited was safe and we loved the way breakfast and dinner was included during the second half of our trip. The hotel restaurant made amazing food! The front desk people were friendly and helpful when it came to planning outside activities.Show more

  The organisation was excellent but the accomodation on our second stop was awful and appalling food . I don’t why this hotel was chosen Panarama Palace Hotel - unhygenic airconditioning and blinds did not work . Food was shocking and breakfast was left out all night - totally unceptable. Third hotel was great but the 4 night dinner was a disaster - felt like 2nd class citizens - tried it twice but went elsewhere on the 4 nights - it would have been better to have a main course at the hotel. I definetly would not recommend Restaurant Masaniello - this was not a 3 course meal of any sort- a complete waste of money which for me as a hospitality professional was really disappointing.
