- Day 2
Madrid to Pamplona
Head north from Madrid with a stop in the medieval town of Burgos to walk through the town square. Then continue on to Pamplona for a quick orientation tour before you get some free time to wander around and get a feel for the place on your own.

- Day 3
Bilbao - San Sebastián
After breakfast, travel to Bilbao to check out its cultural attractions and architecture, including the Museo Guggenheim. From there, head to San Sebastián, a coastal town where you can walk the cobbled streets, grab some pintxos (Basque tapas) at the bars, and shop around before returning to Pamplona for the night.

Pamplona to Barcelona
Travel south toward Barcelona and stop in Zaragoza to see the colorful cathedral, grab churros, and walk through the historic old town. Once you reach Barcelona, you'll get a photo stop at Sagrada Familia, then settle in for dinner at a local restaurant. You're staying two nights here.

Barcelona
Start your day with an optional guided bike tour of Barcelona if that appeals to you. Later, you can head to Parc Güell to see Gaudí's colorful gardens and architecture, or if you'd rather relax, the Mediterranean beaches are nearby. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you like.

Barcelona to Valencia
Leave Barcelona and drive to Valencia, a port city where you'll find both beaches and culture. You'll get an orientation walk through the city to see what it's all about. Later, there's an optional paella-making class with your group if you want to learn from the people who invented the dish.

- Day 7
Valencia to Granada
Head to Granada, a romantic city in Andalusia that blends Arab and Spanish influences together. When you arrive, you'll have dinner with your group, so get ready to explore a city that has a real magic to it.

- Day 8
Granada
You have free time in the morning to explore Granada at your own pace. If you're interested, you can optionally tour the Albacín (the Muslim quarter), visit the Capilla Real, or try the local Arab pastries. In the afternoon, visit the Alhambra Palace, Spain's most visited attraction, to see the Moorish architecture and get views of the city from up there. By evening, join your group for traditional flamenco and tapas.

Granada to Madrid
Travel back to Madrid with a scenic stop in Toledo, a medieval hill town that has Spanish, Arabic, and Jewish heritage layered throughout. You'll see the gothic cathedral, visit El Greco's house, and check out the Alcázar Fortress. After you get back to Madrid in the evening, you have free time to find some tapas, order sangria, and enjoy the nightlife.
