- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and head to your hotel to get settled. Once you've had time to freshen up, the afternoon and early evening are yours to walk around the city on your own. Later, you'll meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group for a casual dinner together.

- Day 2
Athens
This morning a Local Specialist leads a guided tour through the ancient Acropolis, stopping at the Parthenon, Royal Palace, and Temple of Zeus. You'll then spend time at the included Acropolis Museum checking out the ancient artifacts on display. Before the day ends, you'll see Hadrian's Arch and the first modern Olympic stadium. After that, the rest of the day is open and you can wander through Plaka, sit in Syntagma Square watching people, or hunt for the best souvlaki in the city.

Athens - Corinth - Mycenae - Epidaurus - Nafplion
You'll leave Athens this morning and cross the Corinth Canal heading into the Peloponnesian Peninsula. With a Local Specialist, you'll explore ancient Corinth, then move on to Mycenae to see the Beehive Tombs, Lion Gate, and Agamemnon's Palace. Later you'll visit Epidaurus to walk through the ancient theater and Sanctuary of Asclepius. By evening you'll arrive in Nafplion, a charming Venetian town, and have dinner at your hotel.

- Day 4
Nafplion - Olympia
You'll travel through the Arcadian mountains toward Olympia, stopping at a family-run honey farm along the way. There you'll taste thyme-infused honey and learn about traditional beekeeping practices. Once in Olympia, you'll explore the ancient athletic grounds where the Olympic Games started back in 776 BC, walking past temples dedicated to Zeus and Hera. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the town at your pace.

- Day 5
Olympia - Patras - Delphi
A Local Specialist will guide you through Olympic history this morning, taking you through the ancient site, museum, and ruined temples. Later you'll head to the Karabelas family's olive and wine estate for a home-cooked meal, traditional dancing, and time with local hosts. From there you'll travel north along the coast to Patras, cross the Gulf of Corinth, and continue to Delphi where you have the option to join an interactive cooking lesson and try preparing local dishes.

- Day 6
Delphi - Thermopylae - Kalambaka
You'll walk the Sacred Way with your Local Specialist up to the 4th-century Temple of Apollo, seeing statues that honored athletes from the ancient Pythian Games. Next you'll take a scenic drive to Thermopylae where Leonidas and his 300 Spartans made their famous stand against the Persians. After that you'll cross the fertile Thessaly plain, known as Greece's breadbasket, and arrive in Kalambaka.

Your morning starts by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage monasteries of Meteora with a Local Specialist. You'll tour two of the six Eastern Orthodox monasteries that sit dramatically perched on massive rounded rock towers. From there you'll take a scenic drive back to Athens and settle in for a final dinner with the group to reflect on your journey through Greece.

The evening is free so you can explore Chora's winding streets, walk past whitewashed buildings and bright bougainvillea, check out the shops, and follow your nose to find great seafood. As the sun goes down, Little Venice is the perfect spot for a cocktail.

You have the choice to see the Cave of the Apocalypse and St. John's Monastery as an optional activity.

Patmos - Crete - Santorini
While cruising toward Crete, you can explore the Palace of Knossos to see ancient Minoan culture and beautifully restored wall paintings from pre-Christian history, or choose to drive into the countryside to experience traditional Cretan life. Later you'll head to Santorini and watch this Cycladic island rise from the Aegean with its distinctive cliff-top towns. You have the option to add a Shore Experience this afternoon, traveling through villages and vineyards toward Oia where white buildings and blue-domed churches overlook the caldera.
