    Chiang Rai

    You'll arrive in Chiang Rai and have the rest of the day to settle in at your own pace. Wander around the city and get a feel for the peaceful atmosphere, perhaps grab lunch at a local spot or just relax after your journey. It's a good time to orient yourself and maybe chat with locals about what's worth seeing.

  2. Day 2

    Chiang Rai

    After breakfast, head to the local market to see regional products and get a sense of daily life here. From there you'll visit Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Phra Singha, two important temples with different architectural styles and histories. Next up is the Black House (Baan Dam), a distinctive property that mixes traditional Thai design with contemporary elements in unexpected ways. In the afternoon, take a boat on Mae Kok River to a Karen village where you'll watch and feed elephants before heading back to Chiang Rai.

  3. Day 3

    Mae Salong - Golden Triangle - Chiang Saen

    After breakfast you'll drive north through mountainous terrain filled with tea plantations and rolling green hills. Stop at Mae Salong to taste local tea and learn about the growing process. Later you'll visit an Akah village in Loyo to see how ethnic minorities live in this region, then walk through Mae Fah Luang botanical garden with its varied plant collections. The day finishes with a boat trip on the Mekong River at the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Burma, and Laos meet at a single point. You'll stay overnight in Chiang Saen.

    Chiang Saen to Chiang Rai

    After breakfast you have free time to do whatever you'd like until your transfer back to Chiang Rai. This is your chance to grab souvenirs, have a relaxed meal, or just sit and reflect on the trip. Your tour ends when you depart from Chiang Rai.
