The trip did not start the best way as our italian speaking guide had to cancel last minute for personal reasons, so the agency had to find a new guide last minute, and luckily Kreshnik accepted to step in and take us for the tour. Despite he could not speak Italian, he has been an eccelent guide taking us to very nice spots and restaurants where Albanians go. The itinerary is really nice from very north to very south and allows you see the whole country. We really enjoyed the mountains in the north and Shala river, actually the differentiator of this tour is that it covers Theth national park that the other agencies do not. However some clarification needs to be provided in the description of the tour: the excursions at waterfalls and blue eye are actually hikings, and this must specified as we did not have proper shoes or clothes for it, also my dad is 78 and could not join the hikes….Also, the accomodation at Theth was not a 4 star hotel but a very simple guesthouse, and this should also be indicated. Also the car had terrible smell of diesel, so i advise to provide more modern transport. Other than that, I really enjoyed the trip overall, also appreciated the flexibility of the agency in changing itinerary or plans when needed. So with some small adjustments and clarification in the tour descriprion, I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Albania for the first time!Show more

Must do trip for everyone with fantastic tour guide and company - went above and beyond in every way. I’m a rather unfit 49 year old that did tour with friend and two adult daughters. Bledar was so patient, funny and encouraging. The scenery is out of this world. The lodges were authentic and beautiful and our drivers were also a font of knowledge - the team were all A star(!). I would highly recommend this company as they sorted everything and we knew we were going the right way(!). We also visited areas that only a tour guide would know. It was magnificent. Thank you Bledar, Jonard, Denis and wider team - was amazing!Show more

  What time approx does the tour finish in Tirana? And when can we take the free walking tour? What's the best way to travel to and from Durres? And also the airport?

  Tour usually finishes around 17:00 in Tirana. Walking tour can be organized in the moment of Arrival or any other days after. To travel from Tirana to Durres you can travel by Bus or by Taxi. Albania doesn't have trains or Metros yet. To reach the Airport you can use Bus from City Center, or you can order a taxi that approximately costs 15-20€ from Tirana.

  Are we picked up from our hotel? Or do we have to make our way to a meeting point? We do not arrive at the airport until 23.00 on Tues 13 so I'm wondering if we stay at a hotel in the airport will we get collected there??
