Extremadura to Córdoba
Head west through Extremadura toward Mérida, the region's capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll walk through impressive Roman ruins here, including the theater, amphitheater, and the old Roman bridge. After that, continue on to Córdoba, which was once the capital of the Caliphate. Check into your hotel when you arrive.
