Thinking of the age I am, I thought this safari was too harsh for our age group, due to the fact that one of the roads (6 1/2-hour ride and returning on the same road) was over the top grueling. It was like traveling on a washboard at 50 mph. Two sisters did not finish their trip, one woman was bruised on her arms and legs and another woman, who went through open heart surgery 1 1/2 years ago, felt a need to hup her chest to keep it together! AND when I returned home and YOUNG lady that I knew had gone on the same trip months ago and also complained on the harshness of this trip.... So, I guess it was not just my age. My husband and I are very active, it is a good thing that we are in good shape to endure such travel!!!!
