      Day 11 – Hike to Majerum: 11 km, about 5–6 hours, (+ 630 -700);

      TravelerWritten March 2026

      Could you please also give the same information about day 3 and 4? I am really looking forward to this trip, but I also have my doubts about what I can handle regarding the hikes. I love the mountains and am in good shape; I walk around 18 km a day, but I certainly can't keep up for the whole thing. I don't think I can manage 1,000 meters of elevation gain and walking for more than 6 hours anymore... Is it possible for me to take a shorter route myself and/or skip a day?

    • Responsible TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

      To answer your questions clearly, here are the details for the hikes on days 3 and 4:

      Day 3 – Tashkent – Beldersay – Charvak Lake
      Hike: approximately 8 km / 4 hours (+/- 440 m)

      Day 4 – Charvak Lake – Small Chimgan Peak – Tashkent
      Hike: approximately 9 km / 5–6 hours (+590 to +920 m)

      Regarding your concern about the hikes, please do not worry. It is wonderful that you enjoy the mountains and are in good shape, and I completely understand that you may prefer a lighter option on the more demanding hiking days. This can certainly be arranged. We will inform the guide in advance about your preferences and comfort level, so he will already be aware of this before the tour begins. Depending on how you feel, he will be able to offer you more suitable options, including shortening the hiking distance and duration, and where possible suggesting an easier or shorter route. So please do not feel under any pressure. Our aim is for you to enjoy the experience comfortably, at your own pace, and with peace of mind.

    Asked on May 8th, 2025

    I am interested in this trip. I am pretty fit and walk a lot but wanted to check the hiking terrain as I don't have a very good head for heights and really would not want to delay people or cause problems for the group! How many people are travelling on this departure date and what is the make up of group? I am travelling alone.
