Arrival in New Delhi
You'll land at New Delhi International Airport where someone from the company meets you in the traditional Indian way and takes you to your hotel. Get settled in for the night.

New Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, you'll see the main monuments of New Delhi that show India's time under British rule, including Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and Humayun's Tomb. A rickshaw ride through the busy Chandani Chowk market in Old Delhi comes next, then you'll drive through New Delhi.

Jaipur: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal & City Palace
Start at Amber Fort where you'll ride an elephant up to the entrance. The fort was built by Raja Man Singh. Next you'll check out Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the pink sandstone structure famous for its windows, and walk through City Palace in Jaipur's heart. You'll photograph Jal Mahal and visit Jantar Mantar, an old astronomical observatory.

Ranthambhore Tiger Safari
After breakfast, you have tiger safaris scheduled for both morning and late afternoon at Ranthambhore Wildlife Sanctuary. You might spot tigers, Indian leopards, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, striped hyenas, and sloth bears while you're there.

Ranthambhore to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

Agra: Taj Mahal & Agra Fort
Get up early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, one of the seven wonders. The monument shifts colors throughout the day, pink in morning light, milky white by evening, and glittery gold under moonlight. After breakfast you'll tour Agra Fort with its red sandstone walls, including the Palace of Mirrors, Halls of Audience, Nagina Mosque, Mina Masjid, and the 16th-century Jahangir Palace. End at the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, sometimes called the Baby Taj, the first tomb in India built entirely of white marble.

Agra to Varanasi by Train
After breakfast, the rest of the day is yours to wander around on your own. Later in the evening you'll head to Agra Railway Station to catch the overnight sleeper AC train to Varanasi.

Arrival in Varanasi & Sarnath
When you arrive, a company representative meets you and takes you to your hotel. In the afternoon, head to Sarnath where Gautama Buddha first shared the Dharma and where the original Sangha was established. It's one of four main Buddhist pilgrimage sites.

Varanasi: Ganges & Temples
Start with an early boat ride on the River Ganges to see the sunrise, then return for breakfast. You'll visit the New Vishwanath Temple (Birla Mandir) inside Banaras Hindu University, dedicated to Lord Shiva and took 35 years to build. Next is Tulsi Manas Temple, built by the royal family in 1964, where poet Tulsidas supposedly wrote the epic Ramcharitramanas. The Durga Temple (Monkey Temple) dedicated to Goddess Durga comes after. By evening you'll watch the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a daily ritual that's been practiced for thousands of years along the Ganges.

Varanasi to New Delhi by Flight
After breakfast, a company representative takes you to Varanasi Airport for your flight back to New Delhi. Check into your hotel when you arrive.

New Delhi to Kathmandu by Flight
You'll be transferred to Delhi Airport to fly to Kathmandu. After you land, transfer to your hotel and check in.
- Day 13
Kathmandu: Swayambhunath, Durbar Square & Pashupatinath
After breakfast, head to Swayambhunath Stupa sitting on a small hillock, a symbol of faith and harmony believed to go back 2,000 years. The site has gold-decorated temples and colorful prayer flags. Next is Kathmandu Durbar Square near the royal palace, which has several temples including Jagannath, Kotilingeswara Mahadev, and the 15th-century Taleju Temple showing Newari architecture. You'll notice damage from the 2015 earthquake still visible on some structures. Then you'll see Pashupatinath Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Kathmandu dedicated to Lord Shiva. From there, drive to Boudhnath Stupa, the largest in Kathmandu and important for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrimage and meditation, with the Buddha eyes visible on all four sides.

Kathmandu: Boudhnath & Patan
Spend time at Boudhnath, one of the world's largest stupas and a key center for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Then continue to Patan, once called Lalitpur (City of Beauty). Stop at Durbar Square, the city's business center with multiple Buddhist and Hindu temples.
