i love to visit turkey and like to go when it is sunny and clear. i appreciate the summer will be best time to go, such as in august. can i ask what is the weather like in early april please, if i decide to visit turkey during the easter holidays? i did a search on google and it says it can be raining?

summer season in Turkey is hot in August the weather is like 30-36 degrees celcius. april mostly sunny and average temperature is 20-25 degrees. rain is not unusual in april but as i informed mostly the weather is sunny.

My question is on the domestic flights cost? Is flying the option other than over land? Is that why there is an extra charge?

We dont have a land tour version of this tour its a package with flights and we dont have any extra cost for the flights the domestic flights are included in package rate.

Is it possible to extend our hotel stay in Istanbul at end of tour, and how would we do that. Also does the tour have space, and could we book our own balloon flight as the quoted price seems high for a trip in November.

Is it possible to stay for two full days in Capadocia to visit sites (3 nights), or is this not possible on this tour.

If I choose the 5* upgrade, will I not need to add the luggage weight option for 20kgs in the booking anymore? Can you give an indication of start and end time for each day tour? The itinerary always says "after breakfast" but I would like to get a more specific time as breakfast times can be anywhere from 6am to 11am. I also want to get an idea how much free time I have outside of the tour, to do other things. Can I add any optional excursions later on, after booking?

When you booked 5 stars hotel upgrade package luggage allowance is 20 kg. Istanbul tours starts between 8:30-9:00 am, ends 3-3:30 pm. Pamukkale tours starts between 07:20-08:00 am up to the hotel location of other members, ends between 6-7 pm. Ephesus tours start 9 am ends 4-5 pm. Cappadocia Tour starts between 9-10 am, ends between 4-5 pm. Ferry to Samos starts 7:30 return will be between 7-7:30 pm. Everyday after tours you will have free time. Optional tours can book later separately.

Do Canadians need a visa to visit Turkey? Also I'm hearing conflicting info regarding a visa to visit Samos Island in Greece.

Airport transfers are included in tour price. Tipping is not mandatory in our tours so it is up to your happiness recommended tip is 10 dollars per person per day for guide and 5 dollars per person for drivers as I informed its not mandatory but recommended. During your tour you will have a licensed tour guide will accompany you.

Can you add me with another male solo traveller to share a room? I'm a 43y.o man traveling solo.

Overall we enjoyed the 12 day tour of Turkey. Communication with the company (Zerrin) was always good and very responsive to our questions as we toured around. We chose the tour as it gave us an extra day in Kusadasi and Antalya which we appreciated, given that our flights between the towns were always in the evenings. The tour itinerary included a trip to Santos Island which did not take place, as the ferry service was no longer running. However we did enjoy a day to ourselves and wander around the town of Kusadasi and have lunch with the locals away from the tourist area. The hotels were mixed in quality, the hotel in Istanbul was very good, and also in Kusadasi (although the latter had a very poor breakfast buffet). The hotel in Antalya was most unsatisfactory, we arrived after midnight to find our room was above the Irish bar that was still playing load music until past 1am. It is also located far from the old town with few amenities close by. We had to switch hotels for the next two nights as it was not possible to stay there any longer. We appreciated that Zerrin was able to make alternative arrangements. The provided lunches were fine, sometimes at a large tourist oriented buffet, which as we travelled in off peak season were quite pleasant and had advantage of a large selection of choices. We enjoyed meeting up with different people at each location, as we all seemed to be on slightly different schedules and itineraries. The guides were generally helpful and informative. Although in Cappadocia we did feel that we were rushed through some sites, and the group of us on that tour had to push back and say no, we have to have more time. But overall the tour was a great experience and very well organized with flights, tours and transfers all arranged and all on time.Show more

It was an amazing trip and didn’t disappoint. My only suggestion would be to notify people there would be a lot of extra expenses when it came to entering venues, (museums, Ephesus, etc.). At times the currency was an issue, for example some places would only accept lira, not euros. I would like to note one of our guides was exceptional. His name was Volcan and he assisted us in so many ways. My friend fell at one of the ruins, breaking her ankle and he was instrumental in getting the care we needed. He was exceptional and really helped us getting through a horrible experience.Show more
