We can certainly arrange for you to depart on the 8:35 PM flight from Vancouver Airport to Whitehorse, as well as set up your return flight on the 9th departing Whitehorse at 7:00 AM and arriving in Vancouver at 9:20 AM. However, please note that due to your late arrival on the first day, you will miss that night's aurora viewing tour and won't have an additional opportunity to make it up. Additionally, we would be delighted to add day tours to your itinerary, including dog sledding and ice fishing, please let us know if you would like us to add these for you, and we can check availability and cost. Yes, we do have tours available over the Christmas period. Please note that a holiday surcharge applies for travel during this time. For one adult, the single occupancy price is CAD $2,915.00 Bookings over the Christmas holidays are made on request and are subject to supplier availability.

Yes, you can absolutely add activities on at a later date. Yes, this would be the cancellation terms: CANCELLATIONS & CHANGE FEES For individual reservations, the following cancellation fees apply per person (unless otherwise noted): • Airfare is non-refundable at the time of booking, whether it is a component in a package or stand-alone. • 61 days or more to the departure date, we provide a full refund minus a $75 transaction fee. • 60 days to 31 days prior to departure date 50% of the total price (unless otherwise stated) • 30 days to, including on and after departure date 100% of the total price.

Does this include the flight from Vancouver and accommodations? Do the northern lights come out every night during December?

Yes, this tour includes non-stop return flights with Air North to and from Vancouver. Regarding the northern lights, while there is never a 100% guarantee that they will be out every night, December offers a very high chance of viewing them in the Yukon.

Can my grandson, who is currently 18 and will turn 19 in March 2027, join the tour?

Unfortunately, yes, this would be an issue for the Hot Springs portion of the tour. The minimum age requirement for admission to Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs is 19 years old, and this policy is strictly enforced by the hot springs. Since your grandson will still be 18 years old at the time of travel in December 2026, he would not be permitted to enter the facility, even if he turns 19 a few months later. Please note that they serve alcohol in the premises, for that reason kids under 19 years old are not allowed. He would still be welcome to participate in the Yukon Wildlife Preserve portion of the tour. After the Wildlife Preserve visit, you can ask at the time of entrance to the Hot springs staff if they would allow your grandson to stay in the cafeteria, without any promises. Otherwise he would need to return to the hotel while you continue to the Hot Springs for couple of hours.
