Does this include the flight from Vancouver and accommodations? Do the northern lights come out every night during December?

Yes, this tour includes non-stop return flights with Air North to and from Vancouver. Regarding the northern lights, while there is never a 100% guarantee that they will be out every night, December offers a very high chance of viewing them in the Yukon.

Can my grandson, who is currently 18 and will turn 19 in March 2027, join the tour?

Unfortunately, yes, this would be an issue for the Hot Springs portion of the tour. The minimum age requirement for admission to Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs is 19 years old, and this policy is strictly enforced by the hot springs. Since your grandson will still be 18 years old at the time of travel in December 2026, he would not be permitted to enter the facility, even if he turns 19 a few months later. Please note that they serve alcohol in the premises, for that reason kids under 19 years old are not allowed. He would still be welcome to participate in the Yukon Wildlife Preserve portion of the tour. After the Wildlife Preserve visit, you can ask at the time of entrance to the Hot springs staff if they would allow your grandson to stay in the cafeteria, without any promises. Otherwise he would need to return to the hotel while you continue to the Hot Springs for couple of hours.

  February is peak season for aurora viewing in Whitehorse and the chances of seeing them are pretty high. With this 4 day experience, you will have 3 nights for viewing opportunity. It's a great time to travel.
