Antalya
You'll arrive in Antalya and get settled at your hotel. This afternoon, take a short tour of the coastal city to see Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman district, and a waterfall that drops right into the sea.

- Day 2
Antalya - Aspendos - Side - Karaman - Nigde
Head to Aspendos to check out its famous Roman theatre, widely considered the best-preserved one around. From there, continue to Side where you can see the Temple of Apollo sitting by the water and walk through the port and busy streets. Next, cross the Taurus Mountains (peaks reaching over 3,500 meters), pass through Karaman to see its fortress, then travel into the Cappadocia region.

- Day 3
Nigde - Cappadocia
Spend your full day in Cappadocia's unusual lunar-like landscapes. Visit Gumusler, a 7th-century underground monastery with fine Byzantine frescoes, then explore the Kaymacli underground city that once housed around 30,000 people. Stop in Uchisar for the views over the region. After lunch, walk through Goreme Valley's open-air museum where you can see rock-cut churches built into the stone. You'll stay in Avanos tonight.

Cappadocia - Ihlara - Konya
Start the day at Ihlara Valley on Cappadocia's edge, known for its cool waters and rock-cut churches carved into the canyon. Travel then to Konya to see a 13th-century caravanserai and the Mevlana Mausoleum, where you'll learn about the Dervish order and their traditions. By evening, you have the option to watch a dervish dance performance.

Konya - Egridir - Pamukkale
Travel along a scenic route between lakes to reach Egridir, a charming town on a large lake with historic walls and mosques. You'll have time here for lunch. After that, head to Hierapolis-Pamukkale to see the Cotton Palace, formed by white mineral-rich waters cascading down the hillside.

Pamukkale - Ephesus - Kusadasi
Travel to Ephesus, one of the best-kept ancient cities in Asia Minor. Explore the House of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and the extensive ruins of the ancient city itself. Then head to Kusadasi, a busy coastal town with shops and a small castle. Note: during May through October, you'll stay in Aydin with a stop in Kusadasi from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a city tour.

Leave early to visit Lake Bafa, one of Turkey's natural wonders. Continue to Bodrum, a fortified city of Greek origin where you can see the castle, walk the streets, and check out the marina. After lunch, proceed to Marmaris, a coastal destination with a castle, pier, and fountains. Note: accommodation might occasionally be in nearby Mugla instead of Marmaris during summer months.

Marmaris - Dalyan - Antalya
Head out for Dalyan, a riverside location where you'll take a boat trip to see the Lycian Rock Tombs. The boat continues to a large lake and stops at thermal springs where you can swim in the warm water or try a mud bath. Later, travel to Antalya for a short tour of the vibrant coastal city, taking in Hadrian's Gate, the Ottoman quarter, and the waterfall that flows into the sea.
