Milan
You'll land at Milan airport (MXP or LIN) where your driver will be waiting. Budget about an hour for baggage claim and to connect with them. After that, the day is open - you can wander around the city, check out local restaurants, or head back to your hotel to rest before things get started tomorrow.

- Day 2
Lake Como
Take the trip out to Lake Como and explore the villages scattered around it - Varenna, Bellagio, and Lenno all have their charm. You'll see lakeside villas and quiet streets along the water. Your transfer from Milan to the lake is covered, though you'll need to get yourself to the train station. If you want to take a boat ride on the lake, that costs around EUR 15 per person and is up to you.

Milan to Venice
The train to Venice is included with your ticket. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, spend the rest of the day on your own walking through the city. You'll come across the Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs, and Doge's Palace as you wander through the canals. Go at whatever pace works for you after you've settled in.

Venice Island Excursion
After breakfast, hop on the Vaporetti water bus to reach Murano, Burano, and Torcello in the Venetian Lagoon. Each island has its own character - known for local crafts, history, and the views around them. Your 24-hour water bus pass is already part of your tour, so you can move between them freely.

Venice to Florence
Your train to Florence is covered. Once you check in at your hotel, the evening is yours to spend however you'd like. Walk through the historic streets, or if you're up for a bit of a climb, head to San Miniato al Monte church on the hill for views across the whole city. Even though it's compact, there's so much to see in the center.

- Day 6
Pisa Day Trip
Take the train from Florence to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and the Cathedral. The tower sits about 2 kilometers from the station, and local buses get you there for roughly EUR 1 per adult (EUR 0.50 for kids). Your regional train ticket works for 3 hours from the time printed on it, so you can catch any train that fits your schedule within that window.

Florence to Rome
Your train ticket to Rome is included. After getting to your hotel, head to Vatican City on your own to explore. Walk through St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square. The Vatican Museum with the Sistine Chapel is optional and costs extra, as does climbing up the basilica dome if that interests you.

Rome
Go see the Colosseum, the massive arena built between 72 and 80 AD that could hold 73,000 people. Your skip-the-line ticket is included and valid for 24 hours from when you enter. The same ticket also lets you explore the Roman Forum and Palatine Museum within that 24-hour period. Stand in the arena itself and think about the ancient battles that took place there.

Rome Departure
Your tour finishes today. A private car will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Rome airport (FCO or CIA). The pickup is scheduled 3 hours before your flight departs, so make sure you plan your morning with that timing in mind.
