- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and head to your hotel for check-in after 2pm. The rest of the day is open for you to wander around the neighborhood, grab dinner, or just settle in at your own pace.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City to Mekong Delta
An early start takes you on a full-day Mekong Delta tour. You'll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, then cruise by sampan past the Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. At Unicorn Island, walk through orchards, try tropical fruits and listen to folk music before checking out a fruit plantation. Later you'll take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal, stop at a honey-bee farm and coconut candy workshop. After lunch, either cycle around Tan Thach village to meet locals or relax in a hammock. You'll head back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City Full Day Tour
This full-day city tour covers Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office from the French Colonial period. Spend time at the War Remnants Museum to see the Indochina War displays. After lunch, head to Cho Lon (Big Market) in Chinatown and stop by Thien Hau Pagoda. By late afternoon, take a waterbus cruise along the Saigon River to see Vinhomes Central Park, Landmark 81 tower, Bitexco Financial Tower, and District 2.

Cu Chi Tunnels Afternoon Tour
An afternoon tour takes you about 90 minutes northwest (70 km) to the Cu Chi Tunnels. After arriving, you'll watch a video about tunnel construction and wartime survival, then explore the tunnel systems including living quarters, storage, weapons factories, hospitals and command centers. You'll learn about hidden trap doors and traps throughout the maze. Take time to enjoy special tea and cassava (guerrilla food from the war), and optionally try shooting. You'll return to Saigon by evening.
