Arrival in New York
You'll arrive at your hotel and check in at your own pace. The staff can point you toward good restaurants and things to do in the area. Take some time to settle in and prepare for what's ahead in the city.

- Day 2
Midtown Manhattan and Chinatown
After continental breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at 8:45 am for a 4-hour coach tour through Midtown. You'll pass Fifth Avenue, Broadway, Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Chrysler Building, Flatiron District, Theater District, Union Square, and Times Square. Lunch is an authentic Chinese meal in Chinatown where the tour ends. From there, walk back to your hotel (about 20 minutes under the Brooklyn Bridge) or take the bus or subway on your own. Spend the rest of your day however you like.

- Day 3
Central Park and Harlem
Start with breakfast, then take a bus tour of Harlem. On the way you'll walk through Central Park, an 800-hectare green space that feels completely different from Manhattan's busy streets. Your guide leads you through Harlem's history and culture, showing you well-known streets and buildings. An authentic musical brunch is included. The evening is free if you want to catch a Broadway show or try a restaurant.

- Day 4
Brooklyn Exploration
Your guide picks you up at the hotel for roughly 6 hours of touring by minibus. First, head to North Williamsburg in Brooklyn to see traditional brownstones and modern lofts in the neighborhood's trendy core. Domino Park on the waterfront comes next, built where the old Domino Sugar Factory stood, with views of three bridges connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. Stop in DUMBO for pizza and a drink at a popular local spot. Then explore Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Instagram-famous corner of Washington and Water Streets. Walk or take the ferry back to your hotel (ferry is your expense). Your evening is open. Note that activities depend on weather.

Lower East Side and Tenements
Breakfast happens at the hotel, followed by a leisurely morning for shopping, walking around, or doing your own thing. In the afternoon your guide meets you for a coach tour of the Lower East Side. Learn how settlers arrived in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and see the tenement buildings where families lived in tight quarters. Early evening includes a visit to a speakeasy bar for a drink, these hidden establishments date back to Prohibition from 1920 to 1933. Head back to the hotel on your own afterward.

Free Time in New York
Your final day in the city is completely open. Use it for shopping, visiting attractions on your own, or exploring neighborhoods you haven't had a chance to see yet.
