The guide (Sherali) and porter (Nooric) were great .. I’d rate them 4 and 5 respectively.. we did however have a bad experience with the Tour Radar/ Responsible Travel platform. We should have been informed immediately that the original guide had a medical episode outside our hotel and is still in hospital.. this only came out later.. but the failure to do so and the vague messaging we did receive made the arrangements look amateurish and offering no accountability.. a lot of hassle for all concerned could have been avoided by accurate and timely advice. I’d rate the platform experience at zero for this reason

All local guides were very knowledgeable, considerate and thoughtful. The person who stands out was our driver Ikrom…one of the guides once mentioned ‘now we have to find our driver’ to which I responded ‘no, Ikrom finds us!’ Which made him stand out so much, amongst other things, we felt so looked after, he was very respectful and gallant, always on the lookout for us, on the long roadtrips we had wonderful conversations and laughter, 5+ stars to Ikrom It took us some time to get used to the typical driving in Uzbekistan, the driver we had on the daytrip to Karakalpakstan had us curling our toes at times! The 4cities were incredible to visit! So much history, so many details, so many wonderful colours and local people super kind and polite. We felt very safe during our visit and enjoyed Uzbekistan very much!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Responsible Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
