Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Belimbing
You'll arrive at your hotel in Belimbing, a traditional Balinese village perched at 600 metres above sea level. Your tour leader meets you at 6pm for a welcome briefing, and dinner is available if you'd like to join the group. This gives you time to settle in and get oriented with the team.

- Day 2
Rice Paddies - Tanah Lot
Start early with a walk through terraced rice paddies, covering about 5 kilometres over three hours on mostly flat or downhill terrain. Mount Batukaru rises in the background as you watch local farmers working. By afternoon you'll head to Tanah Lot temple on the coast to catch the sunset before dinner. Later you'll return to Belimbing for the night.

Belimbing to Ubud
After breakfast you'll visit a local project to create Balinese temple offerings, then move to Tirta Empul temple to experience local rituals while wearing traditional dress. Next, you're heading north to Gunung Kawi where you'll walk down over 300 steps to see 11th-century royal tombs carved into a cliff face. Lunch happens at the local project before driving to Ubud for two nights. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace.

- Day 4
Ubud
This is a free day to wander through Ubud at your own pace. You can browse shops selling bamboo furniture, wood and stone carvings, or local paintings and crafts. The town sits surrounded by terraced paddy fields. Optional activities are available if you'd like them, or you can simply relax at your hotel.

Ubud to Bajawa, Flores
You'll take an early indirect flight to Bajawa on Flores Island, an area that sees limited mainstream tourism. When you land, a stop at a local hot spring lets you freshen up after traveling. Then it's a 30-minute drive to Bajawa, the spiritual heartland of the Ngada tribal people who maintain unique customs, languages, and traditional dress.

Landmarks Flores Island - Day 6
Ngada Villages
An early start takes you by car to Wolobobo with views of Ebulobo and Inerie volcanoes. You'll walk through several small traditional Ngada villages including Bena, with its megalithic stones and stilt houses with steep thatched roofs. This walk covers about 8 kilometres over four hours with some elevation changes. After lunch you'll visit a local bamboo craftsman workshop before returning to your hotel.

- Day 7
Bajawa to Ruteng
You'll drive west across Flores through landscape with dense jungle, active volcanoes, and rice fields. The drive takes about six hours total. Along the way you stop to learn about Arak liquor production, then visit a coffee-producing community project run by nuns that supports local women. You'll arrive in Ruteng by evening, a mainly Catholic city at 1170 metres with cooler mountain air and paddy fields surrounding it.

Ruteng to Labuan Bajo
After breakfast you'll drive to Liang Bua Cave to learn about Homo floresiensis, an extinct small human species called 'hobbits' whose remains were found in the early 2000s. Next you'll stop at the spiderweb rice fields of Cancar to see their unique design and panoramic views. Then it's about five hours total driving to Labuan Bajo on the coast where you'll check into your beachside hotel.

Komodo National Park
Rise early for a guided visit to Liang Bua Cave and its museum. Then you'll board a boat headed to Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once you land on Rinca Island with national park rangers, you'll do a two-hour walk across relatively flat terrain covering about 5 kilometres to spot Komodo dragons. That night you'll sleep on a private boat in basic shared accommodation.

- Day 10
Labuan Bajo
The boat continues to Padar Island where you'll climb approximately 800 steps on wooden and stone stairs to reach the top for those iconic panoramic views. Later you'll cruise to Pink Beach with pink sand formed from red coral, where you can swim and snorkel on the colourful coral reef. You'll visit Komodo Island again with rangers for another dragon safari walk. The boat stops at Manta Point where you might spot manta rays. Back in Labuan Bajo by afternoon, you'll celebrate with an included fish dinner at SO Bajo Night Market featuring fresh local catch.

Labuan Bajo to Jimbaran Beach
Your morning is free to relax at your hotel or walk through Labuan Bajo town and its market. An afternoon flight returns you to Bali and a drive to Jimbaran Beach where you can relax by the sea. An optional farewell group dinner at one of the beachside restaurants is available if you'd like to join.
