San José
You'll land at San José airport and get picked up for the drive to Hotel Autentico. It's your first night in Costa Rica, so you'll settle in and rest up before the adventure starts tomorrow morning.

Puerto Viejo
After breakfast, you'll head through Braulio Carillo National Park toward the Caribbean side. The route takes you into jungle canopy on a cable car tour, then you'll stop at butterfly gardens and see sloths in their habitat. From there, continue along the Caribbean coast and arrive in Puerto Viejo by evening.

- Day 3
Puerto Viejo
Start the morning with a trip to Cahuita National Park where you'll walk along the beaches and do a short hike through the area. The rest of your day is yours to chill on the palm-lined Caribbean coast, swim, or just relax at the beach.

Tortuguero National Park
After breakfast, you'll board a boat and travel about 40 km through river channels to reach Pachira Lodge in Tortuguero National Park. Later in the afternoon, check out the colorful village of Tortuguero and get familiar with the area.

Landmarks Tortuguero National Park - Day 5
Tortuguero National Park
If you're up for it, take an early dawn boat trip to see wildlife before heading back for breakfast. Later, hike into the rainforest, and then spend the afternoon on another boat trip through Tortuguero's canals looking for monkeys, birds, butterflies, and turtles.

Landmarks Tortuguero National Park 
- Day 6
La Fortuna
You'll head back by boat early in the morning to the landing stage, then switch to a bus. Drive through pineapple and palm heart plantations toward La Fortuna at the base of Arenal volcano. After lunch, you'll reach Hotel Magic Mountain for the night.

- Day 7
La Fortuna
Spend the day hiking through Arenal National Park, walking over ancient lava rocks and seeing the different plants and animals in the area. Then head to the Mistico suspension bridges and walk at various heights to get up-close views of the landscape around you.

La Fortuna to San José
