Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin
You'll arrive in Dublin at a time that works for you. If you have a few hours to spare, the double-decker hop-on hop-off tour is a good option for seeing Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and the Guinness Storehouse without feeling rushed. After that, head to your accommodation in the Meath region, which is about 25 km from the city center. This gives you time to settle in and get oriented before the rest of your journey begins.

- Day 2
Meath to Sligo
You'll drive north through County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, an area known for its lakes and water sports. Stop in Enniskillen if you want to check out the 15th-century castle. From there, continue to Mullaghmore Head on the Wild Atlantic Way, where the coastal views are really something. Later, visit Drumcliff to see William Butler Yeats' grave, then walk through Sligo town center. If you want to add something relaxing, Strandhill has a nice beach, and the traditional seaweed baths there are worth trying if that appeals to you.

Sligo to Mayo
You'll drive along the coast to Enniscrone, a small town with a 3 km sandy beach surrounded by dunes. Continue on to Downpatrick Head, where you'll see Dún Briste, a distinctive rock formation rising from the Atlantic. After that, head to Achill Island, Ireland's largest island, where you can relax on the sandy beaches or wander through the abandoned village of Slievemore and its megalithic tomb. The landscape here actually inspired Heinrich Böll's famous Irish Diary, so there's quite a bit of history to take in.

Mayo to Galway
You'll explore the Connemara region starting with Killary Harbour, which is Ireland's only fjord and has some really nice views of its 16 km inlet. Next, you'll see Kylemore Valley and can visit the white Benedictine abbey if you want. After that, you'll head into Galway, the former European Capital of Culture. Spend time walking through the streets, shopping, and finding a pub with live Irish music. It's a vibrant place with lots to do in the evening.

Galway to Dingle
You'll travel through the Burren and reach the Cliffs of Moher, which stretch 8 km along the Atlantic coast with heights up to 200 m. Stop at the visitor center to learn more about this natural wonder. From there, head to Loop Head, a scenic area known for its film locations and its 300-year-old lighthouse. You can take an optional boat trip from Carrigaholt if you want another perspective. Later, you'll cross the Shannon Estuary by ferry to reach the Dingle Peninsula, famous for dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, and charming villages.

- Day 6
Dingle to Killarney
You'll visit the Gallarus Oratory near Kilmalkedar, a well-preserved early Christian house of worship, and then see the 12th-century Romanesque church at Kilmalkedar. On the way toward Tralee, you can stop at the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre or take a boat trip from Dunquin or Ventry to check out the uninhabited Blasket Islands. From there, travel to Killarney, which is known for its national park and location on the scenic Ring of Kerry coastal road.

Killarney to Cork
You'll head to the Mizen Peninsula, the most southwestern point in Ireland. Visit Mizen Head Discovery Point, called 'the last tear of Ireland,' where you'll find an offshore island with a lighthouse connected to the mainland by a suspension bridge. After exploring the area, settle into your accommodation in the Cork region.

Cork to Wicklow
Start your morning at the English Market in Cork to sample local delicacies and culinary specialties. Then choose between two options: visit the Rock of Cashel, which sits on a limestone rock and was once the seat of the kings of Munster, or explore Kilkenny, a medieval town with a riverside location. Kilkenny has medieval architecture, narrow alleyways, Kilkenny Castle, a free design center, St. Canice's Cathedral, and the Smithwick's Brewery. On the way back to Dublin, you can optionally visit the Irish National Stud Farm and Japanese Garden or drive through the Wicklow Mountains. End your evening in a pub, reflecting on your trip.

Wicklow to Dublin
You'll head back to Dublin for your departure. The drive is approximately 50 km and takes about 1.5 hours from Wicklow, giving you time to wrap up your journey and head to the airport or train station at your own pace.
