- Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap
You'll land at Siem Reap airport around 10 am and drive straight to Angkor Thom. Once there, you're walking through the Bayon Temple first, where you'll see those distinctive carved faces covering the towers. From there, it's on to the King's Palace, then the Elephant Terrace and the former royal audience hall. Before heading back to your hotel for check-in, you'll catch the sunset from one of the upper terraces, which gives you a nice overview of how massive this complex actually is.

Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm
This day focuses on the other major temples in the area. Angkor Wat takes up a good portion of your time, where you'll see the detailed bas-reliefs showing Hindu mythology and get a sense of the architectural scale. After that, you head to Ta Prohm, the one where jungle has grown over and around the structures, creating those dramatic scenes. Your last stop is Banteay Srei, a smaller temple about 25 km northeast, known for its striking red sandstone that looks quite different from the other sites you've seen.

- Day 3
Beng Mealea and Departure
You're heading out about 65 km from Siem Reap to reach Beng Mealea, a 12th-century temple that sits more isolated than the main Angkor sites. The morning involves an orientation hike through dense jungle to get to the temple, which sits among rock ruins and overgrown vegetation. You'll have time to walk through the galleries and take photos before driving back toward the airport in the afternoon. The tour wraps up around 3 pm when you head to catch your flight.
