Toronto
After breakfast, you'll join a morning city tour that takes in the Eaton Centre, City Hall, Casa Loma, Rogers Centre, Yorkville, and the University. From there, the route continues past the Rogers Center and CN Tower toward the harbourfront for a fuller picture of the city. Your afternoon is free to explore on your own, including the option to check out the Underground City if you're interested.

An early start has you heading east along Lake Ontario's northern shore, passing through meadows, forests, and farms. You'll reach the Thousand Islands vacation area and take a relaxing boat trip through the islands before continuing on to Montreal later in the day.

Montreal

Montreal to Quebec City
The drive toward Quebec City takes you through the heart of Quebec province along the historic Chemin du Roy. You'll pass through typical French-Canadian villages and small towns to get a sense of the region's culture. Upon arrival, you'll visit the walled old town, lower town, citadel, Battlefields Park, and the decorated city gates.

Quebec City
Today you can explore Quebec City on your own, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the St. Lawrence River is at its narrowest point and the only walled city on the North American continent. An optional day trip to Tadoussac includes a three-hour whale watching tour on the St. Lawrence River at the mouth of the Saguenay River, with a stop at Montmorency Falls on the way back.

You'll drive west along the St. Lawrence River, passing Montreal and crossing into Ontario toward Ottawa, Canada's capital. During lunch, you'll stop at the Sucrerie de la Montagne, a typical pioneer restaurant. After a short city tour of Ottawa, the rest of your day is free.

You'll head to Algonquin Provincial Park for a nature excursion, taking walks along trails through this massive nature reserve. The area has maple forests, crystal-clear lakes, and wildlife like moose, bears, and wolves. Later you'll drive through the popular vacation area of Muskoka, arriving in Huntsville by evening.

Huntsville to Niagara Falls
