Itinerary
- Day 1
Dakar
Your local representative will meet you when you land in Dakar and drive you to the hotel. You can settle in and take it easy for the rest of the day after your flight.


- Day 2
Dakar
After breakfast, you'll go on a sightseeing tour around Dakar. Stop by Independence Square and the Kernel Market, where you'll find colorful flowers, fruits, fabrics and souvenirs. Then see the main government buildings, Soweto Square, the National Assembly and the IFAN museum, which has West African masks, statues and musical instruments on display.

Goree Island and Pink Lake
Following breakfast, a twenty-minute ferry takes you to Goree Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with significant historical importance. You can walk through the pink colonial houses, visit the door of no return and the Museum Maison des Esclaves, then head up to the castle for island views. Later you'll grab lunch on your own before heading to the Pink Lake, about forty minutes north. The pinkish waters and dune landscape with palm trees are quite striking, and you can choose to trek or swim.

Dakar to Saint Louis
After breakfast you'll drive to Saint Louis, Senegal's former capital and one of Africa's oldest European-created cities on the western coast. This UNESCO-classified island city sits on the mainland side of a bridge and serves as Senegal's intellectual hub, known for its arts and culture scene.

Landmarks/POIs Saint Louis - Day 6
Saint Louis
Following breakfast, you'll ride in 4x4 vehicles through red dunes to the villages of Rao and Guelakh, where Peulhs and Toucouleur people live. Stop at a local school and a women's agricultural compound to see how things operate. In the afternoon, a horse-drawn carriage takes you through Saint Louis. You'll see the Guet Ndar district, the fishermen cemetery and fish drying sheds before heading back to the hotel.

Following breakfast you'll check out and drive to Tambacounda. Once there, have lunch at the hotel and then visit Missirah, Badi and Wassadou to see the park's wildlife and vegetation.

Tambacounda
You'll spend a full day on safari after breakfast, experiencing the park's wildlife. Back at the lodge by noon for lunch and some downtime, then another safari in the afternoon lets you see different areas of the park.

Tambacounda to Dakar
After breakfast you'll take one last look at the park before heading toward Dakar, driving through Tambacounda and Kaolack with a lunch break. Later you stop in Fatick to check out Fulani villages in Samba Dia and the palm tree forest before going to Mbour. From there, it's on to the airport for your departure.
