Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city at your own pace, checking out different neighborhoods and grabbing dinner at a local restaurant.

Rhine Falls
Head out to Rhine Falls to see one of Europe's largest waterfalls from different viewing platforms. After that, you'll do a self-guided walk through Zurich using a provided Google Maps route, taking in the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House, and the historic streets.

St. Gallen
Take the train to Appenzell and check into your hotel. Walk through the charming streets with their colorful traditional buildings and try some local Appenzeller cheese. Later, head to St. Gallen to see the Abbey of St. Gall (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and wander the historic old town there.

- Day 4
Mt. Titlis - Mt. Stanserhorn
Train to Engelberg for your hotel check-in. You'll go up Mt. Titlis by gondola and cable car to take in the alpine views and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift over the glacier. Later you get to experience the CabriO cable car up Mt. Stanserhorn with 360-degree views, and there's an optional revolving restaurant if you want dinner with the scenery.

After breakfast, head from Lucerne to Mt. Rigi using the train and cable car, passing through those typical Swiss green meadows and forests. To wrap up, you'll have a relaxed boat ride on Lake Lucerne where you can see small villages and the mountains around you.

Engelberg to Grindelwald
Take the train from Engelberg to Grindelwald and settle into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the village on your own, getting a feel for the place at whatever pace suits you.

Interlaken Region - Murren - Wengen - Trummelbach Falls
With your day pass for regional trains, you'll spend the full day in the Interlaken region. Check out the car-free villages of Murren and Wengen in the Lauterbrunnen Valley where you get those views of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. You can hike various trails or visit Trummelbach Falls, which is a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls you can walk through in illuminated tunnels.
