    Yes, of course, it's possible. You can stay longer at your own expense. Let us know where you would like to stay, and we can arrange the additional stay for you and coordinate a private transfer to the airport at the end.

    Surely, It will be $55 for the transfers, If its late night 10 PM - 5 AM there's a surcharge of another $12.50. We do not deal with hostels unfortunately so wouldn't have any knwoledge on that. With food the traditional food is Rice and Curry variety of curries (chicken, fish, lentils, or vegetables) with coconut sambol and papadum as sides something very popular. Then there are Bowl-shaped pancakes made with fermented rice flour and coconut milk. egg hoppers with a soft-cooked egg in the center. Stir-fried dish made with shredded bread, vegetables, eggs, and/or meat enjoyed with spicy curry sauce on the side. A sour fish curry made with tamarind and aromatic spices, originating from Southern Sri Lanka. or something on the roadside - Spiced lentil fritters sold at roadside stalls. Watalappan - A creamy coconut custard dessert flavored with jaggery and cardamom.

    10 July is available. It does have all the activities you listed and interests. culture history, nature, engaging with the locals, some hiking, sigiriya rock, dambulla temple, temple of tooth relic, train ride thru tea estates and the hills. It has a mini Elephant national park safari which you can choose not to go on and we could have a cooking class set up for you instead. Specifically solo, we have a group on the 4th of September incase you just want to be around solo travellers.

  I need more information on the climate of Sri Lanka and the best time to visit. I dislike hot temperatures. Do they have a rainy season? I travel solo. is there a single supplement?

    I would recommend that you plan this trip between late Late December till April. You will see pleasant temperatures throughout, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya can be a bit cold during the evening around that time of the year though. Yes, they are a small island but different areas experience different climates. The cultural triangle and areas this offer covers will see rains between July till October. Yes, there will be a single supplement of about $1180 unless you are ok staying at 3-3.5 Star hotels where the single supplement will get reduced to just $679.

    I would never fly Chinese Airlines because of their bad safety record but I would fly Cathay Pacific.

    Great, so we could do Cathay at A$1586 I have Singapore airlines at A$1494. These prices once the tour is booked can possible come down, one we submit the tour booking with the airlines for inclusive tour concession.
