Itinerary
- Day 1
Mexico City
You'll land at Mexico City International Airport and head through customs. Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall to pick you up. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel where you can check in and get settled for the trip ahead.

- Day 2
Mexico City
Start the day on an e-bike tour through Mexico City's center, checking out the Zocalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, and National Palace. You'll ride past the Fine Arts Museum and continue along La Reforma avenue toward Chapultepec Park. After lunch, head to Xochimilco to float on the colorful trajineras (traditional flat-bottomed boats) and learn about the local farming that happens on the canals and surrounding areas.

- Day 3
Teotihuacan - Basilica of Guadalupe
Head out to the Teotihuacan Archaeological Complex to explore the ancient pyramids and temples including the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. You'll see structures like Quetzalcoatl and the Butterflies temple. Later, stop at a tequila factory to understand how Mexico's signature drink is made and try some samples. Grab lunch on your own, then visit the Basilica of Guadalupe before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

- Day 4
Cholula - Puebla
Travel to San Andrés Cholula to see the largest Mesoamerican pyramid, with views of Popocatépetl volcano (an active one where you might spot ash from the crater). Next is the Church of Tonanzintla, one of Mexico's oldest churches where animal baptisms sometimes still take place. Continue on to Puebla to walk through the downtown area, cathedral, Talavera street, Santo Domingo church, and the sweets street. After finding lunch on your own, return to Mexico City for the night.

- Day 5
Cuernavaca - Taxco
Drive about 56 miles to Cuernavaca, known as the City of Eternal Spring for its mild weather and green landscape. You'll explore the Palace of Cortés and the fortress-like cathedral there. Then continue to Taxco, a Spanish colonial city built on silver mining. Tour a silver mine to see how alloy production works, then have time for your own lunch and to wander the cobbled streets, check out markets, and pick up local silver jewelry and crafts before driving back to Mexico City.
