Is it possible to have a tour that ends in Orkney?

Unfortunately we don't have any tours that end in Orkney, as all of our Scotland itineraries return to Edinburgh. If your plans become flexible on that point, we'd be more than happy to pick things back up and help you find the right trip.

Why am I unable to choose travel protection? When I attempt to customize a tour, it allows me to select travelers and room size/bed but I am unable to select travel insurance/vacation protection?

Regarding your inquiry about insurance coverage, could you please confirm if any of your customers are currently located in Hawaii or New York? These states are not covered by XCover. If none of your customers are in those states, you may proceed with placing the booking and then purchasing the insurance add-on. However, please note that once the booking is made, only the premium protection option will be available for the insurance add-on (post-booking). Additionally, you're welcome to purchase insurance from an external provider of your choice if that suits your needs better.

What is the hotel upgrade and what is the extra cost?

The hotel upgrade for the North Scotland, Loch Ness & Orkney tour is available at an additional cost of $256 per person. The standard accommodation is in simple guesthouses with en-suite rooms. The hotel upgrade provides enhanced comfort in 4-star hotels like Leonardo Hotel Inverness and Kirkwall Hotel, featuring amenities such as fitness centers, indoor pools, and harbor views. Hotels may vary and will be confirmed 30-60 days before departure.

Does that mean you don't even stop so one can go inside them?

They have explained that due to the long driving distances involved with this tour on Day 1, you will not be stopping at the Castles and will indeed be "going by" them. Are you looking for a tour which focuses on visiting castles exclusively, if so I would be happy to check if we have anything more suitable.

I had 2 issues: 1- the tour states that 4nights accomodation were included, however when I got to the last night of accomodation at Lochview Guest House, the manager made me pay £120. She would not provide a receipt since she said that would go to Rabbies Tour group. I will need £120 reimbursement. 2- my emails stated that the operator was “on the go” but my tour operator was actually Rabbies. This made it confusing when I was waiting for the bus initially.Show more
