Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and get picked up for transfer to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around at your own pace and get oriented to the city.
- Day 2
Cu Chi Tunnels
Head out early for the Cu Chi Tunnels, about 90 minutes from the city. You'll walk through the tunnel systems to see living quarters, weapons factories, field hospitals, and trap doors. There's tea and cassava to try, plus an optional gun range session before heading back to your hotel.

Mekong Delta
Travel to My Tho and board a sampan to cruise past Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands. Stop on Unicorn Island to walk the country lanes, check out orchards, and try tropical fruits with folk music playing. You'll experience hand-rowed sampans through canals, visit a honey-bee farm, taste honey tea, and try the coconut candy workshop. After lunch, cycle through Tan Thach village to meet locals or relax in a hammock.

- Day 4
Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi
Spend your morning and early afternoon exploring Ho Chi Mihn City however you like. Your driver picks you up in time for the airport transfer and your flight to Hanoi. After landing, you're transferred to your hotel in the Old Quarter, where the evening is free to wander and get a feel for the neighborhood.

Hanoi to Sapa
Leave your main luggage at the hotel and pack just essentials. Board the sleeper bus early morning with stops along the way. By afternoon you'll arrive in Sapa and start trekking through rice terraces, villages, and natural scenery while learning about the local minority culture. Head to your guide's house where you'll help prepare dinner and experience hospitality with the family.

Sapa

Then you have options: trek further through bamboo forests and fields to find more villages, or work alongside the family doing things like harvesting or planting. Later, head back to Sapa town by shuttle bus with free time to explore the local market. That evening you'll board the sleeper bus back to Hanoi.

Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
Meet your guide and driver early for the Hoa Lu and Tam Coc tour. You'll travel about 90 minutes to Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient 10th-century capital, and visit temples honoring King Dinh and King Le to learn about Vietnamese history and architecture. Grab a buffet lunch with local specialties including goat meat. Afterward, take a rowing boat through Ngo Dong River and three caves, then cycle through paddy fields and villages before returning to Hanoi.

Halong Bay
Depart early for Halong Harbor with a break en route. Board your cruise, check in with a welcome drink, and have traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising past islands. Spend time on the sundeck or taking photos. Visit Hang Dau Go, one of the largest grottos in the bay. Hike Ti-Tov Island for views and optional swimming. Back on the boat, watch the sunset with fruit and local wine, then enjoy dinner followed by movies, cards, squid fishing, or socializing.

Return to check out, then join a cooking demonstration to learn making Vietnamese spring rolls before creating your own. Relax on the sundeck with bay views. Enjoy lunch while cruising back to Halong Harbor, then take the bus back to Hanoi with a break.
