Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival to West Bali

    You'll drive through Bedugul mountain resort where tropical vegetation surrounds you on all sides. The route takes hairpin roads down the Gitgit hillside, so expect some winding sections but the scenery makes it worthwhile. Lunch happens along the way, then you'll head to your accommodation in West Bali for check-in.

  2. Day 2

    West Bali to Lovina

    After breakfast at the hotel, you're heading out to Menjangan Island for snorkeling within the national park. The coral reefs here are some of the finest around for diving. You'll spend time exploring the small unpopulated island, then in the afternoon it's time to depart for Lovina in North Bali.

  3. Day 3

    Lovina to East Bali

    An early morning boat ride gets you out to see dolphins until around 7:30am, after which you'll return for a leisurely breakfast. At 10:30 you're heading to Kintamani village on the rim of Mount Batur Volcano. Lunch comes with crater and lake views at Kintamani Restaurant. From there you'll visit Besakih, Bali's largest temple, then drive through Putung village to see the terraced rice fields. You'll arrive at your East Bali hotel in the evening.

  4. Day 4

    East Bali to Ubud

    Start with breakfast at your hotel and take it easy during the morning. After lunch, you've got about a 2 hour drive from Candidasa to Ubud, and you'll explore east Bali along the way. Tenganan Village comes first, then Goa Lawah cave, and you'll stop at Klungkung to see the Royal Court of Justice and Kerta Gosa. You should arrive in Ubud in the afternoon for check-in.

  5. Day 5

    Ubud

    Pick up in the morning for a mountain biking adventure down Mount Batur. You'll have morning tea on the volcano's slopes before cycling through quiet villages, past ancient temples, and along rainforest trails. Village stops let you see traditional Bali life before lunch wraps up in Ubud. Later that evening, you'll get picked up again for an Ubud evening tour to explore the artistic side of things. You can browse art galleries and craft shops, then enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and take in one of the cultural performances like Legong Dance, Ramayana Ballet, or Wayang Kulit shadow puppet show.

    Ubud Departure

    Have a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and use the facilities until checkout. If you want, the hotel shuttle can take you to explore Ubud Central before you leave. Your departure transfer from the Ubud hotel goes to either the airport or down to South Bali beach depending on your plans.

    • For any tour departing before April 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Tour East Indonesia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
