Siem Reap
You'll arrive in Cambodia and your guide meets you at the airport. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to settle in or wander around Siem Reap at your own pace.

Siem Reap
Following breakfast, you'll head into the Angkor Complex starting at Bayon Temple through Angkor Thom's southern gates. From there, check out the Elephant Terrace to see its detailed animal carvings, then move on to Angkor Wat itself to take in its scale and ancient bas-reliefs. Later you'll climb up to Bakheng Temple for sunset views, after which you'll attend the Apsara Show at Angkor Village Resort and have dinner.

Siem Reap
Rise early to catch sunrise over Angkor Wat and get some photos. You'll then spend time talking with monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda before heading back to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the morning, visit Banteay Srei with its pink sandstone and elaborate carved details. Walk through local villages and markets, then see Ta Prohm Temple (famous from the Tomb Raider film). The day finishes with a climb to Takeo Temple's summit for views across the area.

Siem Reap to Battambang
Start at Khmer Village among rice fields and palm trees to capture some local scenes. Then you'll take a boat ride on Tonle Sap, the region's largest freshwater lake. In the afternoon, drive about 3 to 4 hours from Siem Reap to Battambang. You'll check in at your hotel and have the evening to relax.

- Day 5
Battambang
Spend the full day exploring Battambang and its surroundings. Visit the Provincial Museum and a local pagoda to learn about Cambodian history and culture. Drive out to Wat Ek Phnom, an early 11th-century temple from the Angkorian period. Later head to Phnom Banan for a hilltop experience with views of Prasat Bannon temple, catch the sunset there, and explore a cave that's home to bats.

Battambang to Phnom Penh
Drive from Battambang to Phnom Penh along a scenic route. Along the way, stop at a pottery village to see artisans working. Then check out the silversmiths at Kompong Loung's floating village and visit Oudong, a historic town with ancient stupas on Phnom Oudong mountain. When you arrive in Phnom Penh, check into your hotel and unwind.

Phnom Penh
After breakfast, tour Phnom Penh's major sites. Start at the Royal Palace with its Khmer architecture and wall murals. Visit the Silver Pagoda decorated with over 5,000 silver tiles, then go through the National Museum to get a full picture of Cambodian history. Head to Wat Phnom, where the city got its start. In the afternoon, you'll visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung EK Killing Fields to learn about the Khmer Rouge period.
