Ho Chi Minh City
You'll land at Tan Son Nhat Airport and get driven to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. After settling into your room, there's a welcome dinner waiting to start things off.

- Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City
Starting at 8:00 AM, you'll head out to see Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. From there, the War Remnants Museum is next on the list. Later in the day, you'll travel to Cu Chi Tunnel where you can actually crawl through the tunnels and get a sense of the underground resistance during wartime. If you're interested, there's a chance to try firing an AK-47 or sample local dishes like steamed cassava.

Mekong Delta
You'll head out toward Cai Be early, stopping for photos in Tan An town along the way. The floating market is where the action happens, with vendors trading goods right from their boats. After that, you'll cruise through small canals to Vinh Long, stopping at family-run businesses that make coconut candy and rice popcorn. By evening, you're in Binh Hoa Phuoc village enjoying traditional folk music and walking through a bonsai garden before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City to Dalat
After breakfast, you'll catch a domestic flight heading to Dalat. Once you arrive in the late afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to rest up and look around the town.

- Day 6
Dalat
Following hotel breakfast, you'll visit Bao Dai Palace and the large Truc Lam Zen Monastery built back in 1993. Then you'll go see Datanla Waterfall and if you're up for it, try the longest roller coaster in Southeast Asia. During the afternoon, you've got Love Valley to check out, the Wax museum, a lookout hill with Venus flower garden, and the Dream Hill complex. You'll be back at your hotel by 4:30 PM.

Dalat to Nha Trang
In the morning, you'll take a Limousine Shuttle bus to Nha Trang. Once you get there, the afternoon is yours to hang out at the beach.

Nha Trang Four Islands
Pickup happens at 8:30 or 9:00 AM for a four-island tour of Nha Trang Bay. You'll snorkel or take a glass-bottom boat at Mun Island to see coral and fish. Lunch comes on the boat with fried shrimp, spring rolls, and fresh fruit. Later you'll relax at Tranh Beach where water sports are available if you want them. The Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is designed like a pirate ship and worth exploring. After returning to port, you'll head to the train station for an overnight train to Danang.

Danang to Hoi An
You'll arrive at Danang station in the morning and transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town. The hotel is yours to rest in until afternoon, then you can walk through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter. Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge are all worth seeing. Dinner happens in Hoi An.

- Day 10
Hoi An to My Son
You'll visit the ruins at My Son Holy Land, which was the old capital of the Cham civilization. The site has about seventy Hindu-like towers and temples going back to the second century, and they're among the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. After exploring, you'll head back to Hoi An by boat and grab a light lunch either on the boat or at a restaurant.

Hoi An Coconut Forest
Meeting your tour guide at 7:30 or 8:00 AM, you'll explore Bay Mau coconut forest and ride a basket boat through the water coconut trees. You'll learn how locals live their daily lives and what products come from coconut trees. There's time for games in the forest and a cooking class for traditional Hoi An food. Lunch is at a restaurant before you head back to Hoi An.

Hoi An to Hanoi
After breakfast, you've got free time until your transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Hanoi. At Noi Bai airport, a car will take you to your hotel in the city center. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Old Quarter at your own pace.

Hanoi
Pickup is between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. You'll start at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi built back in the 6th century. Next comes the Ho Chi Minh Complex where you can see his embalmed body and walk through gardens with two of his houses from 1954 to 1969. The One Pillar Pagoda is unique and worth the visit. At the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, you'll learn about the country's 54 ethnic groups. Lunch includes eight Vietnamese dishes. Later, the Temple of Literature shows Vietnam's first university from the 11th century. The Hoa Lo Prison Museum (known as the Hanoi Hilton) comes next. A Water Puppet Performance wraps up the evening before transfer back to your hotel. Late that night, you'll head to the train station for the overnight train to Sapa.

- Day 14
Sapa Trekking
The train pulls in at Lao Cai station at 5:00 AM. You'll transfer to Sapa, have breakfast, and get cleaned up at your hotel before starting the trek. Walking down to Lao Chai village, you'll visit the Tay and Dao tribes. A picnic lunch happens along the way, then you continue through Sapa valley to Ta Van village, known for being the most beautiful village in the area. You'll be back in Sapa by evening.

Sapa to Hanoi
After breakfast, you head up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zdao tribe where lunch is waiting. Once you've eaten, you'll check out and leave your luggage at the hotel, then trek down to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of the Black H'Mong tribe. There's a waterfall at Cat Cat and great views throughout. You'll get back to Sapa town and take a Limousine back to Hanoi, a 6-hour drive that gets you there in the evening.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
After breakfast, you'll drive to Ha Long Bay, which takes about 2.5 hours with a rest stop along the way. At noon you'll check into your cruise and get a welcome drink. Lunch is made on the boat. The afternoon has you visiting caves, islands, and beach areas. Dinner is on the cruise while you watch the sunset, enjoy drinks, and spend the night on the ship.

Ha Long Bay
Breakfast happens on the cruise. In the morning, you'll kayak around exploring beaches, caves, islets, and mountains. Back on the cruise for lunch, then you depart Ha Long Bay and head to Hanoi, getting there around 3 PM. The rest of the afternoon and evening are free to do what you want.

Departure
