  Varanasi – What A Place My wife had always wanted to go, and it lived up to our every expectation. As usual, everything expertly managed by the Odynovo team - collected at airport and personally transferred with a history lesson to the hotel – no question too hard or too silly. First night our Guide Dilip insisted that we drop the prearranged boat view of the Aarti Ceremony – little did we know he had pre-booked unique seats around a temple with an amazing view right above the main ceremony. He sat with us and explained a 1-hour event that just set the scene for our whole trip. Thanks so much. The next day Dilip followed up with so much information during our 6:30am boat trip on River Ganges, then in and around the local around streets, so much to see and experience – it’s another world. After lunch, we took the boat to Assi Ghat where he met us again with Vish our Driver and we spent the rest of the day seeing new Varanasi, with incredible sights, experiences and more. What a team and so well done. Dilip was very kind to my wife, helping her all the way around a challenging street walk but she made it. A special call out to the Brijrama Hotel, if you can afford it (not cheap) go for it. The location and experience is just perfect, it’s special, convenient and simply unique. A once in a lifetime. There is literally no better place to stay on the Ganges. The historical hotel has been so well renovated, with so much love and detail to see and do. Plenty provided free of charge to guests to immerse themselves in the place. So many personal touches to add to your experience. The staff were especially nice, everyone so helpful, kind and supportive. Leaving was sad, but what an uplifting experience.Show more

  My recent trip to the Golden Triangle in India was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, the experience was awe-inspiring, educational, and so much fun that I can't help but give it a full five stars. The knowledgeable guides made a significant difference in how we enjoyed the tour. Their insight into the history and culture of each site was impressive, and they were incredibly kind and engaging throughout. What really stood out was their ability to adapt the itinerary to suit our interests—whether it was diving deeper into local traditions or exploring off-the-beaten-path attractions. They truly went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience possible. Our driver also deserves a special mention. His service was impeccable. He made our journey not only convenient and comfortable but also cheerful with his upbeat attitude. It was comforting to know we were in such capable hands, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant cities we visited. The food during the trip was another highlight! Each meal was a delightful experience, bursting with flavors that showcased India’s rich culinary heritage. I indulged in so many delicious dishes that my taste buds were on a constant adventure! Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough. For anyone considering exploring the Golden Triangle, this is the way to go!   Just returned from two FABULOUS weeks in India, organised by Cathy Hou. Cathy from the very first interaction was communicative, responsive, and really understood our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. Cathy’s attention to detail was greatly appreciated. It is enough to say that the itinerary Cathy created for us was perfect! It was the right pace, and the right balance of ensuring we saw the main sights, combined with a wildlife safari plus giving us enough free time to explore ourselves. Cathy took all the hard work out of travelling. She took care of every detail. Everything went as planned, was on time and exceeded our expectations. It was lovely knowing that we had access to a contact on the ground in India, should we have required it. The local guides were so knowledgeable and professional, and our drivers were friendly and safe. We smiled for two weeks solidly.   An amazing and exciting adventure much more than a vacation The golden triangle did not disappoint.,Colours and aromas steeped in history and culture.A must see once in a life time is the Taj Mahal , Agra.The Pink city of Jaipur and hystorical Amer fort allows you to absorb a sense of culture .The delights of the old city Delhi Bazaar walking tour allowed us to see and feel the day to day life and smell the wonderful spices . A hidden gem in the old city took us to lunch with Masterji Kee Haveli a local cuisine prepared for us privately. .An additional option was to take part in a cooking lesson at Safron Palate by Neha Gupta , the tutorial and hands on experience followed by sampling the meal which my husband and myself really enjoyed. Outside the famous golden triangle we delighted on our experience with an overnight stay at The Tigress Ranthambore .with an early rise start to the Ranthambore national safari park. to our amazement and delight to see tigers and a cheetah and chase that ensued. All of these adventures and amazing experiences where enhanced by our private tour guides and driver Pushka. Their knowledge and professionalism made us feel comfortable and safe at all times.When travelling to India Odynovo ensured all our hotels where to an excellent standard of hygeine comfort and great dinning options.
