We cannot say that the Salt Lake is completely dry in October. However, as it follows the dry summer period, if there is not much rainfall, dryness is usually observed in October.

Can we depart Istanbul on September 21 or 22?

There is no request from other travelers for this date. Maybe you may consider September 11 or September 25?

Does this tour include the Bosphorus Cruise? What will be the price of this tour in New Zealand Dollars? When we book, how to pay in New Zealand Dollars? What will be cost of Hot Air Balloon Expedition in New Zealand Dollars? Do we have to book it at the time of booking the tour or we can book when we are there? Which meals are included? Are there vegetarian options as one of us is vegetarian (egg, milk, butter and cheese etc are fine but not fish, chicken or red meat)?

Bosphorus Cruise is not included, it is an optional tour. Hot air balloon price is USD320 per person and can be arranged when you arrive in Cappadocia. Only farewell dinner is included in Istanbul. Breakfast is included in every city. Lunch is excluded in every city. Dinner is included except in Istanbul. We can inform our tour guide about vegetarian requirements and have plenty of vegetarian options available in Turkey.

Concerning the type of payment, should it be only by Euros?

It is not just Euros. You may also pay as US dollars , Canada dollars , Australia dollars , sterlin.

Will the transportation from the hotel to the airport be provided throughout the tour? Is the Bosphorus tour in Istanbul during the day or night?

We are providing 2 transfer rights. This service is include to the package. The timing of the Bosphorus cruise may vary between daytime and late afternoon based on the schedule for that day.

What meals are included in the tour?

I did NOT put excellent!!! It was good. Guides were average, not great. Too much unnecessary details. It is not necessary for the guides to talk just to fill up the time. Pickup on the first day could have been earlier to allow more time in the Grand Bazaar. We were supposed to spend more time at the G.Bazaar on the final day but it was closed. Obviously someone from Dorak should have known that it is always closed on Sundays. The visit to the salt lake was a waste of time and the lunch there was terrible as was the final dinner on the last day in Istanbul. Outside of those things, we had a nice time.Show more

Our guide is a gentleman with whom we have worked for a long time, and our major agencies have been very pleased with him. Your thoughts about him surprised us. As a guide, he is responsible for providing information to guests, and I am sure he did his best. You visited the Spice Bazaar due to the Grand Bazaar's closure. I want to clarify that we do not control the closure days of museums or bazaars. Since we operate tours every day of the week, some days may overlap with these closures during longer tours. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control at Dorak. Salt Lake is a natural wonder and the largest salt lake in Europe. The salt found there is also very healthy. Therefore, I would like to emphasize that it was not a waste of time. We worked with you for weeks to create the entire itinerary.. Thank you again for all your comments and feedback. You can find many different kinds of foods, snack, sweet here and most of them are tasty. Cappadocia has very unique scenery that you cannot miss and the scenery you cannot find in another place. The hot air balloon is a must try activity and worth to ride although it costly than Egypt but trust me you won't regret after the ride, we ride in the early of the morning to see sunrise, the light shine slowly on the chimney look mountain, it looks really beautiful. After the ride we enjoy the celebration of sparkling juice&snack, we also get a certificate with our name from the Pilot & staff, this is unforgettable memories. I enjoy the shopping in Cappadocia as well, we found very good quality fashion leather with reasonable price, and quality good jewelry and pottery as well.Show more
