Right out of the gate, I didn’t need Tour Radar to get me to this tour. They were worthless. I could have booked this tour without them. As for Blu-Roads, Backroads, whoever they are, there was zero communication before the trip. They and Tour Radar had my money and I had nothing. I had to call London 3 times. I received information about the changes to the itinerary on the plane. We hadn’t gotten luggage tags to identify us as a tour group, name tags, information about the country, nothing. Other companies do that.The tour started at 6 pm and the tour guide was assigned to lead the tour at 4 pm. He was greeted by people as frustrated as we were as they had the same issues we did. He worked hard to fix things and was a wonderful guide throughout, and that helped. But most of the time, upon arriving at gardens and definitely at the flower show there was no one to greet us for a few minutes at least, to give us an introduction. Our guide couldn’t because his expertise wasn’t in gardens and the show. He had done history and battlefields. We had a ‘free day’ in Windsor. We paid for 8 days, not 7 and we’re left to our own devices. Castle tickets should have been provided by Blu Roads so we didn’t have to stand in line and buy our own. The hotels werenice, the size of the group and bus were excellent and as I stated, the tour guide made it a good time for us. The bus driver,too, was exceptional. But as for Blu Roads, they need to get their act together. We’ll stick with Road Scholar and book direct.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
