The program Transylvanian Delights includes 7 nights of accommodation (Bucharest day 1 and day 7). This itinerary does not include visiting a salt mine. We do have other programs including Turda Salt mine. What travel date are you interested in?

I will have been on a 5 1/2 months trip from Australia so I will have a cabin bag and a suitcase with me. I will try and pack all I need into the cabin bag but does the driver help with the luggage or is it up to me to do it? Maybe I could leave it at the hotel you use.

I love this tour but its not in my time frame. Are you planning anymore guaranteed departures beyond September? If not are there any other guaranteed departure tours you offer after September?

Tour name is very misleading. Does not meet expectations set by name Itinerary could be expanded as too much free time in short tour. Not a transylvanian tour as could be bigger. stops along the way for important tourist spots could be included to reduce free time More places should be included. On first day entry to parliament blocked as no booking. After 1 hr, missed english tour, and followed Italian tour. On 2nd day entry to hotel room blocked as only 1 night booking, instead of 2 nights. Tour guide refused to acknowledge booking mix ups. Very agitated. Affected his response to group. Walks cater for fastest people Does not slow down, even when having to wait. Difficulty in hearing talks /information whilst driving. Does not pay enough attention to group members, even when only 4 people. Meals package is overpriced. More local food should be included, not restaurants that could be anywhere. Disappointed Booking process helps with guaranteed departure. Previous booking was cancelledShow more

All the visits where made and all the services were provided. We have included in the tour some of the most popular and interesting local sites , but Transylvania is a large area and it can not be comprised in 8 days. Regarding the meals, we have an optional package (which you did not booked) including traditional experiences, such as lunch at the locals in the Viscri village or dinner with folklore show in Bucharest. Would like to have more inclusions considering the price we paid for the tour. It’s a bit sad when you are shown a cable car trip to see the view but it’s not included then you do an amazing tour of Peles castle but our ticket did not include the bedroom floor. It started to feel like we were on the budget tour.Show more

  We can pick you up from the hotel you are staying at any time you prefer. The hotel we have booked in Bucharest is Union Plaza Hotel. No worries regarding the luggage - the driver will help you with the luggage. Unless you do not need both luggage, you can leave one of them at the Union Plaza hotel.
