We had a wonderful time on our Chinatown tour in Bangkok with our guide Pat. She led us on foot through some of the most beautiful and interesting parts of the area and made the experience both insightful and very enjoyable. We started in Talat Noi, where we learned a lot about the neighborhood’s history, how it developed over time, and the different trades and industries that shaped it. There were plenty of great photo opportunities along the way, and we really appreciated the relaxed pace. We also took a short break at a lovely café with a view of the river. After that, we continued towards the main Chinatown area near Yaowarat Road. Visiting the market there was a real highlight. It was incredibly helpful to have Pat with us to translate, which made shopping much easier and more fun. She also explained a lot about the food, the products being sold, and the fact that much of the area operates as a wholesale market. We then enjoyed lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant, where we were happy to find vegetarian options as well. Along the way, we also visited several temples and shrines, which added even more depth to the experience. Overall, this tour was a great mix of culture, history, food, and local insights. We learned a lot and can highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Chinatown beyond the surface.Show more

The organization was excellent. We communicated via WhatsApp beforehand, and making changes was no problem at all. I actually booked a group tour, but it turned out to be a private one, which was really nice. The guide (Knack) was very friendly and gave lots of interesting explanations, tailored just for me. She even took great photos! We explored hidden streets, temples, and old buildings, and I got food, drinks, and snacks along the way. Everything was perfectly organized, and I really had a lot of fun. The whole tour lasted about 3.5 hours – highly recommended!Show more

So many activities and engagement along the route across the old town, plus the tour certainly gave my snaps more meaning and memory to cherish.   The additional charge for the one way pickup service is only THB 500.
  
  For your return journey, I recommend that our tour guide help you book a Grab taxi, as it will likely be more affordable than arranging our two-way transfer service.
  
  I would also like to let you know in advance that our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the meeting point, where our tour guide will be waiting to welcome you and begin the tour.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with LJ Biz. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
