  The attention to detail in this tour was impressive. Transfers were always on time, the guides spoke excellent English, and the hotels were clean and comfortable. I especially loved the cultural elements, like visiting the morning market in Luang Prabang and trying local food. The Royal Palace Museum gave me a deeper understanding of Lao history. The sunsets in Luang Prabang were breathtaking, especially from the cruise. By the end of the four days, I felt both rested and inspired.Show more

  I would not recommend this tour company. I paid $4,000 for guides that did not know their country nor did they have any information they could share and they gave me 3 star hotels on 4 of the 10 nights despite paying for Deluxe package. Rather more scary is that because of the above, I was not prepared to pay yet another $500 dollars that they asked for, they abandoned me in a village in the middle of nowhere and before they left, they told all other guest houses in the area not to let me stay with them. I asked villagers to help me get a car back to the nearest city, several hours away, but they said they could not help me because of these men that told them not to help me. They basically left me stranded, I had limited cash and no way of returning on my own. This company had a shocking disregard for my wellbeing and you should avoid them at all costs.Show more
