While Hanoi's Train Street was once a popular tourist attraction, it is now unallowed for general public access due to safety concerns. Authorities have blocked off the area and banned all businesses along the tracks, with police patrolling the area to prevent unauthorized entry. However, some coffee shops with specific permission still operate, allowing guests to enter the area. The main reason for the closure is safety. The close proximity of the tracks to houses and businesses led to overcrowding and dangerous situations as tourists flocked to take photos and videos. If you still want to experience Train Street, the best way is to visit a cafe with permission. Avoid jumping barriers or standing on the tracks, and support local businesses. This tour included the North and South region in Vietnam, but basket boat ride in Hoi An is located in central region of Vietnam, so it's not included.
